Lemon Springs is a community in southern Lee County, North Carolina. It lies south of Sanford, and southeast of Tramway. The community is centered around The Fastop Convenience store, the business shares a building with the Fastop Grill. The Greenwood Elementary School is the only one in the Lemon Springs community, before there were closer Middle and High schools, Greenwood was for grades K-12. The Lemon Springs area is only about one mile across, but features a volunteer fire department, a post office, and, as mentioned before, the fastop grill and foodshop. There is also a fabulous beauty shop called Lemon Springs Styling and Tanning Salon, where you can catch up on all the gossip. Also, in October, please visit the Turkey Shoot for a chance at wonderful prizes! Just look for the bonfire beside the railroad track. Local dining options include Stubbs & Son BBQ, Hardee’s, Dunkin’, and Tramway Diner.
