The hotel was great, breakfast much better than most hotels ive stayed at. Only complaint was the room above seems to have people moving around a lot at late hours. Didn't bring to the attention of the staff but sure they wouldve been accommadating.
Positives: Breakfast was excellent.
Negatives: Noisy neighbors.

This unit is similar to the 1960's Holiday Inns. Nothing fancy, just basics. Loud AC, doors were hard to open, etc.
Positives: Hot breakfast.
Negatives: Long way to the beach. Poor overall condition.

The cleaning staff was behind the hotel taking a break at 3:00 pm and rooms were not ready for check-in. The restaurant by the hotel was excellent and very friendly. Although it was not an ocean view it was a very short and pleasant walk to the ocean.
Positives: Price and location was excellent.
Negatives: The staff was very unfriendly and having a staff party in the lobby customers unable to check in.

I was very pleased. The location was very convenient to the Outer Banks and within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants.
Positives: The staff was very friendly and most accommodating.
Negatives: I had to accept an smoking room and could not get rid of the smell.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Pool and room were very clean. The people were very friendly. No problem connecting onto the internet.

Overpriced for the hotel, considering the location. The hotel room needed updating especially the bathroom.
Positives: Location on the main road was good.
Negatives: The hotel needs updating. Bathroom was old, paper falling off the wall and tile in tub was old.

Really great value for the price. It is not for someone wanting to bask in luxury, but if you want a clean, comfortable, friendly place near the beach to take your family for a reasonable price, it is hard to beat.
Positives: Clean comfortable room, close to beach, free breakfast.
Negatives: Tricky getting on to the main road, especially southbound.

This is a great place for staying but not staying in room all day. The pool is nice and the staff were very nice to deal with. I had no problems whatsoever. Lots of things to do in the immediate area so it is very convenient. My 11 year old son enjoyed staying there as well. Basic rooms but nice.

The hotel was what we expected for a Holiday Inn Express - no frills. It was just a basic hotel, clean and a convenient location. We didn't spend any time in the room except to sleep.
Positives: Convenient location, basic hotel room, clean.
Negatives: The breakfast buffet was free, but not worth it. After the first morning, we went to the pancake place next door for a much better eating experience.

Overall a nice spot. Convenient to everything. Beds were not very comfortable, but nice staff made up for it.
Positives: The staff was exceptionally friendly.
Negatives: We had children racing up & down our hall for hours at night. Even though staff was told in the morning, nothing but a "sorry".

Pleasant accommodations and staff, rooms seemed recently updated, near a guarded beach, perfect for my purposes for solo leisure/work travel.
Positives: Friendly desk staff, continental breakfast, clean room.
Negatives: Couldn't get wireless to work.

The whole entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The experience was so wonderful we will definitely be back when we vacation in the area in the future! It was wonderful extending our vacation for an extra day!

Negatives: There was nothing that I could possibly complain about!
