I was traveling on business and was disappointed in the quality of this room. The white comforter had a nasty stain on it and instead of several pillows there were only 2 for a King size bed. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice.
Positives: Front desk staff was friendly!
Negatives: Glass window in entry way that gave impression that hotel was not safe.

We found this hotel and the grounds to be attractive, clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. Our room had recently been remodeled and was clean and cheerful. We were informed of the sauna, computer room, pool, workout room and complimentary breakfast at check-in and encouraged by desk staff to enjoy all the facilities. We felt right at home with this southern hospitality. We'd go again.
Positives: The friendliness of the people, clean beautiful facilities, good food and hospitality, security and helpfulness.
Negatives: Geographical location to highway and noise.

This hotel is clean and attractive. It needs some attention to the details of maintenance. But it is definitely not a 2 1/2 star facility.
Positives: Clean.
Negatives: Air conditioning did not work and people smoked in the public areas.

Over all, our stay was pleasant. We had a little trouble finding the Holiday Inn Express. We came into Kings Mtn. off of Hwy. 74. There were no signs for the hotel. After driving through the city, we stopped and asked directions. The hotel is conveniently located off I-85.
Positives: The beds were extremely comfortable. We liked the bowed shower curtain and the strength of the shower.
Negatives: The TV remote control for our room only worked partially. The sleep timer and menu buttons did not operate.
