Do not stay at this hotel if you do not want your vehicle subjected to vandalism. It happened to us on Sept. 9, 2009. Not only was our vehicle vandalized, but the vehicle next to ours was vandalized as well. In talking to one of the employees that worked there, they said it had happened on prior occasions. The sheriff came out with K9 dogs, but could not pick up any scents. There are no security cameras outside. I will not stay at any hotel in the future that does not have exterior cameras on or around the property that would help deter vandals.

Hotel has been nicely updated with a fridge in the room & the continental breakfast was also very nice. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable mattresses I have ever slept on.
Positives: It was great to have a fridge in the room & the continental breakfast was also nice.
Negatives: Staff did not give any information on location of the room or of the breakfast. We had to ask all questions. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

Starting at Piedmont Triad International Airport I-40 eastbound approximately 8 miles until it merges with Business I-85 northbound. Continue in the same direction another 4 miles to the Lee St. exit 224. Hotel is easily visible from the exit.
Starting at Raleigh Durham I-40 westbound approximately 60 miles to the Greensboro area. Hotel is located along I-40/Business I-85 at exit 224, old exit 41.
Starting at Amtrak Make a right out of our parking lot, and then a right at the stop sign to put you on Lee Street Turn right onto Bennett Street Turn left onto East Washington Street Turn left to stay on East Washington Street You will see the Amtrak station on your right.
Starting at Charlotte Douglas I-85 North to the Greensboro area to Business I-85 Northbound. Take Lee St. exit (exit 41, old exit 128). Hotel is easily visible from the exit.
