We rented a third floor river front room with a balcony and jacuzzi. Well worth the extra $25.Very clean every where. Staff was great! Breakfast exceeded our expectations. Make sure you go whitewater rafting while you're there. We'll go back!

My family absolutely loved this place. We went there to be close to the mountains and that's what we got. Rooms could be a little bigger, but overall the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. We liked the location because it wasn't a tacky tourist town. We were close enough to make a drive through the mountains to get to Gatlinburg without having to be in it at night. This will be our new favorite spot to visit again and again.
Positives: Beautiful, relaxing scenery and a lovely staff.
Negatives: Rooms could be bigger, but not suffocating.

Great for families. Very comfortable rooms, especially with fridge and microwave. We loved the river view and all the seating outside for breakfast and relaxing.
Positives: The view of the river with the small balcony was great. We enjoyed the room and the location to rafting and tubing.
Negatives: The hot tub was luke warm.

Not very friendly staff, relatively noisy inside the rooms, simple breakfast, very good parking, outside nice and calm located.
Positives: Close to a river, might be nice with rooms in summer and window open to river.
Negatives: Bad insulation, bed for kids very bed, described as a suites we found a simple room.

The hotel has a great view of the Tuscakegee river. Even though it rained while we were there it was relaxing to go out for awhile and enjoy the view. The hotel is close enough to Dillsboro and Silva for an easy drive yet far enough away to have lightning bugs at night. The place really is a retreat.
Positives: The location on the river was ideal. The breakfast area was neat and clean and the hotel seemed friendly.
Negatives: Finding it was somewhat confusing because it is on the river and hard to see.

Excellent except for attitude of younger girls working the front counter on Friday upon my arrival.

Negatives: Attitude of day staff when I arrived on Friday - two younger girls. The rest of the staff was very friendly.
