This hotel is adequate. It offers a desk with internet access, a microwave,and a small refrigerator. There is absolutely nothing fancy about the decor, in fact I though it was hideous. The bathroom is very large but the vanity for the sink was only about 6 inches around the actual sink so there was nowhere to put toiletries.
Positives: The convenience.
Negatives: The bathroom sink area was too small to accommodate my cosmetics and there were inadequate towel racks.

I like the Wingate mostly because of it's consistency among the brand. I can usually depend upon not asking but knowing all rooms have a microwave/fridge combo. This hotel was recently updated and it shows. Big screen TV and comfortable bed certainly made the difference. Plus room was fully furnished with chairs and lamps, and desk that added to the usefulness of the room and a little extra room as not to feel cramped. Look forward to staying here again.
Positives: Hotel included updated amenities. New beds, flat panel TVs certainly added value to my stay. Everything in working order.

The hotel was very business friendly. It is just a few minutes away from charlotte and Lowes Motor Speedway. The staff was very friendly. The bathroom wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst either.
Positives: Friendly staff, good location.
