Our riverside lodge has welcomed guests since 1946. For over 50 years, the scenic natural beauty and our relaxed atmosphere keep our guests coming back year after year. Come discover nature’s ultimate back yard.

Our rooms have a rustic ambiance, reflecting a casual country setting!

We offer a variety of clean and comfortable rooms, decorated in a charming country style with old-fashioned quilts.

All rooms have river views and either have a private balcony or patio facing the river.

For your convenience, each room has a compact refrigerator, microwave and Cable TV. Some rooms have full kitchens and open-up sofas. We also offer a fully-furnished one-bedroom apartment with a large private balcony, which has a view of Hickory Nut Falls in Chimney Rock Park. And now, Evening Shade has WiFi internet access in the River Lodge.
