Eljawa Campground & Log Cabins offers camping and RV style accommodations in Cherokee.

Eljawa is located on the banks of the beautiful Oconaluftee River. The river is great for swimming, tubing, rafting, fishing or just to sit beside to relax. It is classified as enterprise waters and affords the best trout fishing in the area year round. A Tribal permit is all that is required. No other licences are necessary. Trout are stocked twice weekly.

Located just 2 miles south west of Cherokee on Old # 4 Rd.

26 Riverside sites and 14 shaded field sites.
All sites have water, sewer and 30 amp elec hookups
Centrally located bathhouse with hot showers
All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times
Nightly and Seasonal Rates are available
Wood, Ice, Bait, Fishing Permits available at office.

Log Cabins

All cabins are furnished with:
Linens
Dishes, Silver, and cookware
Microwave
Full size refrigerator
Grill and Picnic Table
Basic satellite TV
AC and ceiling fans
All you need to bring is food and toiletries.

Two night minimum reservation and a security deposit is required to hold Cabin.
Check-out is 11:00 am and Check-in is 3:00 pm
Cabins are open year round
No Pet allowed inside or outside in the Cabins.
