I highly recommend this hotel especially at the Priceline rate.

No bar, no restaurant, we used a service elevator one day, while these are not big deals, they are certainly not expectations<BR/>I have for a 3 and a half star hotel.

Positives: The room decor was nice.

Negatives: Did no one know that all of the common areas are torn up and under construction.

Hotel was great except it was being remodeled. The entire 1st floor was a mess. When it is done it will be very nice. It would have been nice to know it was under construction before we committed to booking it.

This hotel is in a great location and is very up-scale unfortunately there was major construction going on.

Positives: Great locatio and great staff.

Negatives: It was a huge construction zone. Terrible! no advance warning.

Very nice, clean and accessible to a nice area in Charlotte NC.

The room was nice. The pool was dirty and very small. The Coffee in room was not replenished even after asking desk over phone I had to go to lobby hours later to get coffee at front desk. I paid 12.95 for one day internet which I used for less than 1 hour and the hotel tried to charge for 2 days. No airport shuttle available without paying fees does not seem right for such a high scale hotel. When I checked out there was not anyone at desk and I had to wait several minutes while they talked in back room. Only once did the doorman offer to open door.

Positives: Very nice decor.

Negatives: Staff was not very professional and why would a 4 star hotel charge 12.95 a day for internet if they want business travelers.

Beautiful hotel with wonderfully comfortable beds and motel restaurant we actually enjoyed very much for breakfast. Only downside was that internet access was an extra fee.

Positives: Restaurant had a great breakfast menu with wonderful items at reasonable prices rather than an expensive breakfast buffet.

Negatives: I phoned in advance for two doubles instead of king bed, and hotel had no record of it when I arrived.

Good location beside a large mall. Staff was very nice, people were holding doors and greeting you personally, room was all set up. First class.

The location of the hotel is less than desirable. There are no dining choices nearby and no city life. It is an island to itself in old Durham. The lounge will not let you take more than one drink or beer to your room. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is across the street through another parking lot and not convenient to the hotel--maybe even compromises safety a bit. Property was clean and comfortable.

Positives: The staff was accommodating in helping me get a suitable room.

Negatives: Room service food quality was subpar and policy of one drink maximum ridiculous.

I thought overall, this was a great hotel in a fantastic location for south Charlotte. The staff was very friendly and the room definitely met my expectations. I am always surprised when hotels do not include free wireless internet these days, which they did not. Otherwise I had a very good experience here.

Positives: Staff was very friendly and hotel was very conveniently located.

Negatives: I had no shampoo in my room and when I call for it they took well over 15 minute to get it to me.

Overall, my family and I had a good experience. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and were very friendly. The beds were probably the most comfortable I've slept on in a hotel. On the downside, the indoor pool was freezing cold in July. My son was shivering after being in it only a couple of minutes. High speed internet was available for $9.95 for 24 hours. Considering less extravagant chains offer free internet, I thought this was high. Although the rooms were clean and staff was friendly, I will most likely stay somewhere else next time.

Negatives: Indoor pool was freezing cold.

Took them 15 minutes to check in. The clerk did not apologize for the inconvenience at all. Room was nice and beds were very comfortable. Hotel is under construction during daytime hours and there was a strange smell in the hallways. Probably just poor timing so I think I would come again.

Positives: Great atrium/very comfortable beds.

Negatives: Under construction/affected smell & noise levels.
