Nice hotel, I would stay there again.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Could have been a little cleaner.

It was a romantic getaway for me and my husband. We live in the same town where we rented the room. It was 4 star and the first time we stayed in a 4 star. Very impressed that it was so clean.

Positives: It was clean from top to bottom and I didn't have to bring my own sheets or disinfectant to clean.
Negatives: The parking fee of $18.00 and no pool was available at the hotel. Had to pay for the YMCA.

I thought the hotel was absolutely amazing for the price we paid. Everything about it was beautiful.
Positives: I was just amazed with how nice the hotel was for the price - and right in the heart of the city. It made everything so convenient.
Negatives: To get to the parking area and back to the hotel was quite a debacle.

Great staff. Easy check in. Accommodating of all my requests. Great all-around experience. I can't really fault anything about the stay except that parking is tight and somewhat expensive.
Positives: Great location. Proximity to an amazing YMCA is a huge plus too.
Negatives: Somewhat dark hallways. Would be nice to "liven them up" somehow.

Hotel entrance and lobby area are nice and spacious. Rooms were average. This hotel is attached to a business center so most of the co-joining places were closed outside of business hours, which is primarily the time spent on vacation or in a hotel. It is conveniently located near city center and Charlotte Bobcats arena, which is a pretty upbeat part of the city. I was very upset that this hotel advertises pool and fitness center as part of their amenities, however they are simply located within proximity to the YMCA where one would have to go if desiring a fitness center or a pool. The YMCA still charges daily rates to patrons does not provide anything special to the hotel guests. Furthermore, this fitness center is located in a business office building, and is open primarily during work hours as a convenience to the employees of that building. They were not even open on Sunday and had very limited hours on Saturday. So very frustrated with the fact that the hotel lists this as a hotel amenity, which it is clearly not.
Positives: Friendly staff and nice entrance/lobby.
Negatives: Very upset that "fitness center" & "pool" was advertised as an amenity, however was not included.

Negatives: Understaffed at the concierge.

The people at the desk were cold and unfriendly. I reported the tub malfunction and no one came to fix it. 4 of us were forced in a room with 1 bed for 2 nights and I always had to ask for towels because they only gave us 2 sets! The water out of the faucet was yellow and I had to let it run for quite some time before I could get clean water.
Positives: It was close to the convention center where we were attending a cheer competition.
Negatives: Quality of bathtub and water sucked. No vending for a soda and no refrigerator if you wanted to keep on cold. Not everyone drinks coffee!

We stayed here for a weekend away and it was fantastic. It's 2 blocks from the EpiCenter, and smack in the middle of the city. Walking distance to just about everywhere!
Positives: The modern atmosphere and location in center city.
Negatives: Some small, barely noticeable stains on the lampshade and pillowcase.

ESPN was not available all day Friday for viewing of bowl games.
Positives: Location to our activities.
Negatives: We were in a handicap room with no shower head. Only a hand held personal shower.

I had no hot water in the morning. Besides that it was clean, convenient and modern.
Positives: The desk space and the work area was large.
Negatives: Expensive parking and had to pay for Internet.

I expected a hotel of this purported calibre to be able to recover a laptop cord that I left in my room. Especially when I reported it missing to lost and found within 24 hours of departure. I'll be trying the nearby Marriott next time.
Positives: Location and appointments.
Negatives: Lost a laptop power cord that I left in the room.

Positives: The upgrade was pretty cool when rooms had been overbooked.
Negatives: I liked everything.

Clean rooms, newly renovated and very business directed. Nothing really stand out more like a 3+star experience.
Positives: Clean and easy to check-in.
Negatives: Felt like a business person not a four star.

The hotel was modern, the room was recently remodeled and had a great LCD TV on the wall, the beds were comfortable, and everything looked nice.

Positives: Great location and lobby area, modern rooms.
Negatives: Terrible for families. Everything costs extra and including pool.

We will not be staying here again. Did not realize how pricey the parking garage would be. I thought that should have been included with the rate. We were first given a room that was dirty and looked like people were still staying in. Fortunately, the very busy front desk person fixed it quickly. Also, there are no vending machines in this hotel as it seem they want you to buy $4.50 from the restaurant or room service. That was very disappointing. I will bring water with me from now on just in case! Also, we arrived very late due to a snow storm and kept being woken up in the morning to slamming doors. Don't know if this was housekeeping or guests, but it was very aggravating. Will not be staying here again.
Positives: Flat screen TV.
Negatives: $18 Parking, no vending machines, slamming doors in morning.

The hotel was clean. The staff was pleasant. My room was very nice. I loved the furniture. The bed was very comfortable. I also loved the fact that you can control the temperature in the room. My stay was very comfortable. The room service was excellent.
Positives: The room was clean. Room service was excellent. The staff at the hotel were pleasant.
Negatives: One of the telephone jacks in my room had a shortage. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

I was extremely pleased overall with the property. My only issue was that Wi-Fi was not included per my booking class / room rate. Only certain rooms and rates get this, all others pay $9.95 per day - even though the Guest Directory gives conflicting information and instructions. Also, I was a little worried that the guest floors were not secure. Anyone, whether a hotel guest or not, could access guest room floors, which seems somewhat out of step with contemporary standards at hotels of this class and higher, especially located in a downtown area.
Positives: The beds were remarkably comfortable.
Negatives: Wi-Fi access is not free for all rooms / rates / booking classes.

Nice and clean hotel.
Positives: It's proximity to the bank of America stadium and great dining downtown within walking distance.
Negatives: The down comforter and pillows. I am allergic to feathers!

Rooms are nice if that is all you plan on doing inside the hotel. There is basically no lobby and very cold feeling uncomfortable feeling in restaurant bar area. Staff in restaurant were very very slow and under trained and very expensive. Recommend eating out for every meal.
Positives: Room and staff were very nice.
Negatives: The food services was horrible in breakfast restaurant.
