Great hotel I would stay there again and recommend it to others. Great customer service and friendly staff.
Positives: Overall great hotel, great location, not to far from town, and great customer service.
Negatives: Bathroom wasn't as big as others.

Overall a great place to stay for the price. Rooms were very nice and everything was very clean! Pet friendly!
Positives: Newly renovated, rooms very nice and clean.
Negatives: Lobby area very congested/busy; continental breakfast was also in this area.

I was not looking forward to staying at this hotel, which my husband had booked based on the reviews I had found. I was pleasantly surprised. It was completely remodeled, tastefully decorated and had everything and more than I could have asked for a room in this price range. It was pet friendly with a $10 per pet fee. I well remember when hotels did not allow pets by state law and was thankful this law had been rescinded. Don't be put off by the exterior which has not been remodeled.
Positives: Very nice and remodeled rooms.
Negatives: Not a pretty physical location.

This hotel has recently been renovated, obviously. I was really impressed. I didn't have high expectations, but was very pleasantly surprised. It was super clean, convenient, had great bed linens and very comfortable bed.
Positives: The exterior told me it was obviously older, but the interiors told me that it has recently been renovated. Very nice.
Negatives: Heater fan was rather loud for a light sleeper, and it would come on every 3-4 minutes.

Everything was as would be expected at a Best Western other than there were roaches in our room which made our stay much less enjoyable.
Positives: Very comfortable bed and room was clean.
Negatives: There were roaches in the room and I alerted them to this.

This motel was great for our trip to Asheville and allowed for quick drives into downtown and to the Biltmore Estate. AC in our room was pretty loud the first night, but that may have been because of how we set it because it was fine the second night (and our traveling companions did not have a problem with it in their rooms). It is a motel rather than a hotel, but it was actually convenient for us to have our cars right there outside our rooms. If you just need a basic, comfortable place to stay for a few nights to visit Asheville and the Biltmore, this is a great choice and good value.
Positives: Good location, clean room and comfortable bed, adequate breakfast, good for the price.
Negatives: Breakfast area somewhat crowded, loud AC.

The breakfast was very nice and well kept.
Positives: Great breakfast.
Negatives: Outdoor pool.

The location of the hotel is nice, it is close to the Biltmore house as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway. However, it was not clean there were water spots on the toilet seat, on the sink faucet, and the mirror. The disposal cups had ripped plastic covers on them. The carpet had visible dirt accumulated in the entry way to the bathroom. The decor was very nice and appealing, and they are undergoing a renovation, but it was not clean.
Positives: Location to Blue Ridge Parkway, free breakfast.
Negatives: It was dirty.

The hotel was in a questionable part of town. The lobby was under renovation and the construction workers (Mexicans) were staying at the hotel. I did not feel safe or feel that it would be a good stay, so I ate the $75 and went to a better hotel.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Everything.

The location would be convenient for last minute. More of a motel than hotel.
Positives: Location to interstate.
Negatives: The smell of the room.

The hotel is great. I just hated going outside every time I wanted to smoke. Watching a movie or working on paper work was a little hard not being able to smoke. Over all it was great.
Positives: Microwave and Refrigerator a big plus. Helps me to save money, when traveling.
Negatives: No smoking rooms.

I can not figure out why in the peak of summer tourist season a hotel would choose to have work done on their lobby and eating area. I found this a major inconvenience and kind of turned me off. Plus the area they provided for eating their complimentary continental breakfast was incredible small. Most of the time I had to carry back my food to my room which I did not appreciate. However, the hotel was in a great location to get to things in the area.
Positives: Close location to malls, tourists attractions, easy to find.
Negatives: Too small sitting area to provide complimentary continental breakfast.

OK in a pinch, for a brief stop and go one night stay, but priced too high for what you get. Like a Super 8 or Motel 6.
Positives: The bed was comfortable.
Negatives: It is an old style, small room and tiny bathroom place.

This hotel was very well for us. It was perfect location for the highways and down town Asheville. The beds were very comfortable and we were happy to have internet access. The pool was great. The only negative was the space for breakfast, although they were making it larger whilst we were there. They did run out of fruit and there wasn't so much to choose from. They could have had muffins and yogurts.
Positives: The location for vacation travel was excellent. Rooms are convenient to breakfast area. Beds are very comfortable.
Negatives: Not enough space for people to sit for breakfast. The bathroom could be updated.

The room was very attractive. I loved the bedspread on the bed. It had great convenience in that it had, hairdryer, fridge, microwave, I mean everything. I love it.
Positives: The room was very nice. The room looked great & it had everything we needed.
Negatives: Have nothing to complain about.

The Best Western Biltmore East was adequate for our needs. It was standard for a hotel in this price range; nothing exceptional, nothing terrible. Not a vacation destination, but a safe and clean place to sleep.
Positives: The hotel was clean and reasonably quiet after dark.
Negatives: Daytime construction near the room was noisy.

If all you care about is the price, this hotel is fine.
Positives: End room was quiet.
Negatives: Dry rot in bath, dark and dated, very average continental breakfast.

Perhaps, I was unlucky, but I wouldn't stay at this hotel again in a hurry. The electrical wiring worried me. I get the impression the owner/s were trying to upgrade and therefore put every facility (internet, fridge, microwave, etc) into the rooms. The only thing is that the hotel was not built to accommodate that, and subsequently, the wiring was faulty, etc.
Positives: Absolutely nothing.
Negatives: Too much to tell.

The hotel was pretty good for the price. A fine location and a nice pool, but the air conditioning in our room didn't work very well which makes for a tough night's sleep in the hot summer.
Positives: Great breakfast!
Negatives: Air conditioning was not the best.

Gave wrong directions, did not apologize for it and started taking breakfast down at 9:30, it goes till 10 a.m.
Positives: Free breakfast.
Negatives: Staff gave an I don't care attitude.

I liked this hotel very much. It was clean and close to Downtown, so it was perfect for my trip.
Positives: It was very clean and it had a great location.
Negatives: The breakfast was a little sparse.

The hotel is about five miles from the Biltmore resort. Lower tier restaurants in the general vicinity. Hotel is a little older and accommodations are dated. Carpet is dated. No movie rental capabilities. Poorly lighted rooms.
Positives: The room had a refrigerator and microwave.
Negatives: Could not rent a movie. Bathroom too small. No lock on bathroom door. Stuffy. Concrete walls. Poorly lighted.
