Not only are the owners friendly, so are the folks who stay here. No wonder they come back year after year.

This is not a big frills campground, but it is clean, clean, clean. You can buy ice or firewood onsite and they have refrigerator/freezer space available in the pavilion for camper use.

The bathroom/shower house is immaculate. They even provide a basket of mats for outside the shower.

Right off Hwy 28 and down a short, winding little valley road past neatly cared for houses alongside Panther Creek, this place is very quiet with no highway noise to disturb.

We particularly liked our little spot at the center aisle entrance. We had shade all day long and could still hear the sound of the stream. We came for our first stay on our 5th Anniversary and it definitely won't be our last.

It is also conveniently located to anything you want to do within the Nantahala Forest, whether it be white water or flat water kayaking, big boating, white water rafting, biking on the Tsali trail.
