All in all we were delightfully surprised! The room was great, very clean and well stocked, the halls we well kept, and the staff was very helpful and pleasant (the guy on night shift could have been a bit friendlier, but was still nice enough and very helpful). The continental breakfast was fantastic (waffles, bagels, cereal, juices, the works!), and the morning shift at the front desk were just the sweetest ladies! They were very knowledgeable on the surrounding area, and the staff as a whole was very helpful and accommodating when I asked for extra towels and such. I would most definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Negatives: No refrigerator or microwave. It was a queen room, I felt it was big enough, it should have had one.

If<BR/>the staff learned to smile a bit more, it would make for a much more pleasant stay.

I would stay in this hotel again, it was clean and a good location to NYC. The breakfast was very good and the people were nice.

I totally enjoyed my experience there. The room was nice and clean. The staff was extremely nice. I was able to get late checkout on New Years Day! When my little was had a bad night. Would stay here again.
Positives: Staff was extremely friendly and helpful which meant a lot to me.
Negatives: I didn't see (or there was no) an elevator.

The hotel is safe, and the staff is friendly. We also appreciated the breakfast in the morning. However, there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling of our room, and the floors in the hallways were not too clean.
Positives: It is the closest to the relatives we visited.
Negatives: Cobwebs on the ceiling in our room.

Nice for the price but needs a change of on site restaurant. Nothing against hooters per se, but as a female traveling alone I did not want to dine there. I chose to order a pizza from a restaurant listed in the La Quinta guide in my room and that was Medicare and the wrong soda was delivered. The staff tried to be warm and helpful and for that they should be recognized. I would probably go back there when I need to in the future now that I know what I am in for.
Positives: The waffle station at breakfast was excellent and the staff tried hard to be helpful and friendly.
Negatives: I was very disappointed that the on site restaurant was hooters.

Not bad for business travel. My biggest complaint is when I called for directions the clerk said; we are right next to hooters. Being from out of town, I have no idea where every hooter is located. A more meaning landmark, such as cross streets may have been more helpful.
Positives: The hotel was good enough for a nights sleep after a long flight. Neighborhood was commercial, so very quiet after hours.
Negatives: Area was somewhat difficult to navigate, not a large selection of restaurants in the immediate area.

Negatives: With the price of the bus to get to New York, we could have a hotel nearest. The smell of the cleaning product cover smoke cigarette.

I will never stay in this hotel again. I am a business traveler and do not need much, but I do need it to be clean and this hotel was not.
Positives: Gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and gracious.
Negatives: Very dirty room and at best a 1 star hotel.

It could be a great value if it was kept up properly. They need help in cleaning it better. The carpet needs to be changed, fresh coat of paint, and an air cleaner would do the job. I would try it again if they did that.
Positives: I like the mattress. It was very comfortable.
Negatives: The entrance to the lobby smelled like wet dog. The carpet in my room was damp and had a locker room smell to it. It wasn't worth $100 a night.
