Room was great - location as well - at the waterfront area is clean and safe - good place to stay.

Positives: It was clean and close to many attractions and transit.

Negatives: Selection for breakfast was horrible - far too expensive - I know it is for business Hotel but wow $22 for eggs.

Overall, great experience. Very convenient location, room was nicely furnished.

Positives: Bathroom has high quality fixtures.

Negatives: Hotel did not provide us with a room with two double beds as requested over one month prior to travel.

Loved my stay here. Wish I could have spent the whole trip in the heavenly bed. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Location was close to the path train. Would recommended running across to Starbucks for breakfast though.

Positives: Softest fluffiest bed ever!

Negatives: $ for a bagel!

Grate for bing just out of the city (NYC) $3 subway ride to 36th and 6th street NYC. Nice hotel room, very friendly staff with full knowledge of the way around town, just ask them they really know, great valet parking. A++++

Positives: Best service ever (I have traveled lot in my 28 years), amazingly friendly.

This hotel is very clean & friendly.

Positives: Accessibility & friendliness.

Negatives: There was not even a complimentary bottle of water. You have to pay for everything. For the price of a one night stay water should be free.

Loved it! The manager was very special with us, he gave us a special treat very sweet! Rooms big and comfy with good view, heavenly bed, good bathroom, close to the path.

Positives: The special reception we got, they were in every detail.

Negatives: The pool and jacuzzi where cold and too small for that many people.

The front desk clerk should be considered an embarrassment to the Westin corporation. She was completely rude to us and to others checking in before and after us. She told us we were "bottom of the barrel".
After disputing this, she said she would see if she could find us a room (since we "put up a fight" as she put it), but that we would not get two double beds as requested because, again,
I made the reservations a month prior! Both mornings the café did not have coffee available & we were told we could go down the street if we wanted coffee. We were made to feel very unwelcome at this hotel. AWFUL experience!

Positives: Very close to

Negatives: HORRIBLE front desk staff! No coffee at the café either day.

Pleasant stay, but when we needed some paper plates, no one would accommodate at all. Also, no coffee in the lobby during the weekend.

Positives: Clean, and

Negatives: Staff that greeted us upon arrival, female, had no personality, very flat, not welcoming at all.

Excellent four-star hotel for a fraction of the cost of staying in Manhattan.

Positives: Breathtaking views, beautifully designed rooms, terrifically-equipped gym, comfy beds, gorgeous LG TVs and spa-like shower.

Negatives: Wi-Fi should be free. It's nice the hotel is Eco/environmental, but they should provide written bill detailing all charges.

The Westin is a beautiful hotel with great amenities: comfortable beds, quiet heating and air, attractive and updated decor. The doormen were quick and helpful, the concierge unavailable before 11:30 on Saturday morning when most tourists need one. The concierge needs to be assertive in helping guests with tips about getting to Statue of Liberty early enough to get tickets. Need to have more info about NYC, getting tickets, etc. There should be free wireless throughout! Business center useless! Desk staff always friendly, but did not follow through on requests. Housekeeping did not replace enough towels. Called the desk in the morning. When we returned we got a bathrobe instead. One day our room had not been cleaned by 4:00 p.m. after we had been gone all day. If this hotel management cared more about the details, this would be a great draw for NYC tourists. We enjoyed local restaurants in Jersey and others could see a new side of NJ.

Positives: Bed was great, climate control of room, view, proximity to Path Station.

Negatives: Rip-off snacks in room, no space in refrigerator for guest items, poor attention to detail.

Overall, hotel is very good. But a view from our room was terrible! What we saw from the window was construction! It is a good idea to ask a room with a view.

Positives: Spacious, clean and quiet.

Negatives: Dryness, I had a nosebleed.

Modern, clean, and a good location. Nice and very good restaurant for families.

Positives: The location and the proximity of the path to go to NY city.

Negatives: The valet service to recuperate our car was very slow.

Great hotel!

Positives: Very clean, comfortable & secure hotel. Enjoyed the bar & restaurant. Friendly staff.

Negatives: Internet access in room at $10 per day is too expensive! Items from the room bar were added to bill even if not consumed.

Very nice hotel, new, modern style with very courteous and friendly staff. Room was sparkling clean and while not huge was certainly large enough for our comfort.

Positives: Very nice hotel, well situated, convenient to transit, extremely helpful and professional staff.

Negatives: Hot tub was out of order and could not be repaired during our stay.

The staff was great and very welcoming. The room was very roomy and the bed was very comfortable, even the roll away bed. It is in a perfect location, a mall in the rear and steps away from every train connection you need. The only draw back was no discounted parking.

Positives: This hotel was very clean and located near everything.

Negatives: The did not discount parking.
