I would not recommend this hotel. I did not get a room in the tower I booked. Also, when I booked it said I would get a coupon book for the outlets, which I was told me they did not have. Also, the room smelled so bad of smoke, it was gross. I am a smoker and this bother me. When asked to be moved to a room that did not smell, they said no. I booked a non smoking room in another nicer tower and did not receive any. Very unhappy.

Positives: The casino is nice.

Negatives: The hotel room smelled extremely bad.

This hotel is great to gamble and resides in a great place on the Boardwalk, but the rooms are mediocre at best.

Positives: It's on the Boardwalk.

Negatives: The room is not worth the price.

The hotel is a nice location if you wish to be 'in the heart of it all' but beware the rooms are not the cleanest and the hotel staff did nothing about my complaints. The room next to mine was parting all night and I complained about the loud noise, the hotel did nothing to help fix this issue.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: The room was old and dirty, neighbors were loud all night. I complained to hotel staff and nothing was done.

The room I stayed in was very dirty, the bath tub had not been cleaned, had to call room service to have the tub cleaned, the shower curtains were dirty, and the tub clogged up every time the water was turned up. It was a horrible experience for me.

Positives: Location of the hotel.

Negatives: Very unfriendly and uncooperative.

The staff was very friendly but not accommodating when I informed them of the AC leaking water into my open luggage all night. For the price of the room I would expect my clothes to be dry in the morning when still in my luggage.

Positives: Friendly staff with newly renovated room.

Negatives: AC leaked water all night in my open luggage.

I just got back from a stay at Bally's in Atlantic City. The hotel staff is rude. Their customer service line is no help. They have roaches in the rooms. Reviews are bad. They treated my family like dirt.

Positives: Leaving.

Negatives: Rude hotel staff, unorganized, non-accommodating, dirty, and smelly.

We stayed at Bally's over a weekend in February. Was really disappointed in our entire visit. Our room was very distastefully decorated. Very dull and drab. The hotel charged outrageous fees to leave the parking deck, $5.00. The buffet was mediocre at best, another disappointment. Didn't see anyone winning at all in the casino, on machines or cards. And the tax and extras they add to your bill upon departure is absorb. We have visited casinos from the Bahamas to Las Vegas and never had such a bad short stay like we did in Atlantic City. We won't return to your casino, hotel.

Positives: Can't think of anything.

Negatives: Disappointment all the way around.

I booked a standard room via Bally's site on the internet, and arrived late in the day to check in (9 PM). I had requested a room with an ocean view on the lower floors, but apparently those rooms had already been taken by the time we arrived. Instead, we were assigned a room on the 46th floor. Apprehensive on the elevator ride up, not knowing what to expect, we entered a spacious suite which was breathtakingly beautiful with marble and gold everywhere! Comprised of a large dining area, living room, separate bedroom and huge bath with a jacuzzi and shower areas with double gold sinks, separate from a room with toilet and another gold sink, we were in the lap of luxury. We had views above every other building of the ocean, boardwalk and the bay. Situated on the boardwalk, and steps from the beach, we were right in the middle of other casinos, dining areas and shops...a perfect location! The room was scrupulousy clean and the staff was courteous and friendly. Upon checkout, I inquired as to how we were assigned such a beautiful room at the lowest price offered. The clerk said standard rooms were already taken, so she had assigned us a suite normally reserved for high rollers, not usually available to the public. Unfortunately, it is not likely we will be able to book the same level of luxury that was afforded to us that day, but WOW, it was the nicest place we've ever stayed. I would definitely book again for the location alone.

Positives: Location, friendly staff

Negatives: Nothing negative about it.
