The bedroom wasn't updated, the bed was falling apart and fly in the air when sat on. The bathroom looked like a public restroom.

Positives: Good location.

Negatives: Everything

You don't want to stay at Econo Lodge Beach Block Pacific Ave! It should be knocked down. Motel from Hell. No fireplace. Everything wired with extension cords or plug adapter. Overhead lights you see the rafters/wiring above, looked below code. Screw under carpet. No heat. Low power in jacuzzi. No hot water for at least 2 hours both mornings.

Positives: Nothing.

Negatives: Everything.

Location is great. Just off the boardwalk. Staff was courteous, but not informative or helpful. The room itself was well worn and not pleasing, but I wasn't expecting much. Your not going to leave feeling you got a lot for your money, but if you're just looking for a place to lock up your stuff, go gamble and drink and then crash at night, this is probably a good one for you.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Zero amenities. Extras such as helpful informative staff, restaurant or lounge. just a pay & sleep hotel.

The only good thing about the hotel was the location. The room smelled musty and moldy, tripped a couple of times going into the bathroom because of a raise in the tiles. The shower was dirty and it looked as though old stickers were peeled off, leaving the remains inside the shower.

Positives: Location. That is all.

Negatives: It smelled like must cigarettes and dirty.

Highly recommended if you are looking for something inexpensive in a great location!

Positives: I loved the location. Loved that they had the coffee maker and coffee in the room.

Negatives: That it is separated. Half the hotel is on one side of the street and the other half is on the other.

The room was small it has a great location near casinos and 1 block from the boardwalk. There is a very nice 24 hour bar/restaurant (Chelsea Pub) right up the street so that was nice to have near the hotel. Overall I had a good experience!

Positives: Great Location near Casinos and some nice bars.

Negatives: Room was small.

It was a place to sleep. The room was clean, but worn lots of repaired party damage, I would say. Seems like the place college kids stay when in AC. Construction going on next door was loud, early in the morning on a Saturday. The staff was great, though. They were polite, helpful and friendly. Five stars to them.

Positives: Close to the boardwalk and tropicana.

Negatives: It's a bit beat up and there were major college parties going on all weekend.

Over all this hotel was exactly what we needed. Cheap in costs and a clean comfortable room within a 2 minute walk to The Tropicana Casino and there new Quarter shops and food court.

Positives: Was great location to Tropicana Hotel & Casino. Also very close to Boardwalk.

Negatives: Was undergoing some make over construction and was a bit loud with workers.

For the price and location, directly across the street from the tropicana, and walking distance from other casinos this was a great way to enjoy Atlantic City, and save money on lodging. Free off street parking was an added bonus. If you plan on using your room mostly for sleeping, and not hanging around in it all day, this is the way to go.

Positives: Great price for the location.

Negatives: The room was a little tight.

I think this is a great hotel if you aren't expecting to spend too much time in the hotel. It is located near the boardwalk and the Tropicana casino so you do not need to walk far to have some fun. I haven't stayed in any other Econo Lodges but this hotel exceeded my expectations. It is the right price for a weekend get away to Atlantic city if you want to save some money or in my case are a poor student. I would recommend this hotel to fellow students and guys weekend out but if you have the money, I would suggest staying in a casino hotel.

Positives: The hotel was very affordable in a great location near the boardwalk.

Negatives: The hotel room was small and the sheets smelled a little funny.

Over all it met my expectations. Belgian waffles were a nice touch for the continental breakfast. Location 1 block from boardwalk was awesome! Seems to be a somewhat older property, could be maintained a bit better.

Positives: Bed was comfortable, pleasantly surprised to find a mini fridge!

Negatives: Furniture was old; dresser was missing 3 of 4 pull handles!

First pulling into the parking lot I wanted to immediately switch hotels, the place looked old and run down. But we only needed the room for a few hours to sleep after a long night of gambling and partying. So we checked in anyway. The staff was friendly helpful when my girlfriend needed to get her hair done, the lady at the front desk suggested a salon that was close and was able to take her with short notice. I didn't really like the room, but I have to say the sheets looked clean.

Positives: New TV set in room.

Negatives: Old looking furniture room layout was awful had to sleep at the foot end of the bed because lights were coming into the room from the window.

It is somewhat run down, but it is so convenient because the Tropicana is right across the street to it. It fit my needs, plus there are Jitney stops right across the street that gets you around town for $2.

Positives: It is next to my favorite casino- The Tropicana- its latterly at the front door of Economy Lodge.

Negatives: It is not the cleanest place to stay, but the price is way cheaper then anything else around that area.

It's a great, cheap place to stay when going down to the casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey on the weekends- or if you don't have comp rooms at the casinos, during the week. The staff is very friendly, coffee is good and they have a fun waffle maker for breakfast. Don't expect to get the best night sleep, but it's convenient for those on a budget who want a fun night of gambling or entertainment in AC.

Positives: It's right next door to the Tropicana.

Negatives: No noise control. People are screaming and puking outside all night.

Good location but need to renovate. Paint job would help rooms. Also should supply alarm clock.

Positives: Close to Boardwalk and Jitney. Free Breakfast. Nice TV.

Negatives: Low water pressure. Bathroom needs remodeling. Refrigerator didn't work well.

I would not recommend this hotel. It is close to downtown attractions, but the carpet and bathroom were very gross. The bottom of my socks were black from walking around on the carpet. The lobby staff was very friendly, but the cleaning staff could not speak even one word of English. The price was good for the area, but I guess you get what you pay for. Again, I don't recommend to anyone.

Positives: Convenient to downtown.

Negatives: The room was dirty & cleaning staff did not speak any English.

This hotel was clean and very conveniently located. However, the noise made it impossible to sleep, day or night.

Positives: Location is 2 minutes walk to Tropicana or Boardwalk.

Negatives: Do not stay in room 108, as the maid's storage room is adjacent to it. All you hear all day and night is the door slamming closed.

If they shampoo the rugs I would of totally enjoyed my stay. close to everything wonderful staff.

Positives: the staff was really nice. the "breakfast was more than OK.

Negatives: the rug was really filthy. I think the cleaners just spray with that odder killer and never really vacuum properly. Feet get filthy walking to bathroom
