Pompey's Pillar is a community in Yellowstone County, Montana. It was founded in 1907 at the site of a famous natural landmark where William Clark had inscribed his name in July 1806. The village was planned as a railroad station within the Huntley Project, an irrigation project managed by the United States Bureau of Reclamation.
