I booked and pre-paid (almost 6 months in advance) for a suite for my honeymoon. When we arrived (we arrived early and had to wait an hour for housekeeping to sign off on the room) our pre-paid suite had been given to someone else and we got stuck in a room.
When I tried to complain, the manager couldn't be bothered to come out of the office to speak with us and left the desk clerk and a trainee to deal with the dissatisfied customers (I think I heard the manager called Beverly). The trainee even had the nerve to try to get snarky about using points for some of the suite purchase price.
When we checked out the manager still wasn't in evidence. Benjamin, at the front desk, tried to be a helpful as he could but his hands were tied and his manager didn't have his back.
This is the worst service I've ever had at a hotel. And it was my honeymoon!
Positives: Bed was comfy and hotel was clean.
Negatives: Didn't get the suite I pre-paid for.

Very nice hotel. Closer to Flathead lake than Kalispell. Both inside and outside of hotel are very nice in appearance. Fairly new. Linens are typical for a Best Western. Was comparable in price to other hotels in the area, but still felt a little overpriced.
Positives: It was clean and quiet.
Negatives: It was a little bit overpriced.

My experience at the Best Western White Oak Grand was not so grand. Although the hotel has the appearance of cleanliness and professionalism, the reality that these qualities are lacking were obvious when there was nobody working in the entire hotel when we arrived for our CONFIRMED late check-in. After waiting over an hour and finding no help from the 800 number, we went searching for another hotel at the suggestion of the Help Desk from the 800 number. When we returned the next day, nobody was willing to take any responsibility and no compensation or upgrades were offered. Housekeeping was also an apparent issue as we learned during our 4 night stay. The beds were made but that is the extent of what was done. Dirty towels and cups were removed from the room but never replaced without a call to the front desk. And when a request to replenish supplies was made, we were often the ones having to retrieve them as there was no other staff person working. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless management and staff changes are made.
Positives: The owner returned my call when I left a complaint on his cell phone voice mail.
Negatives: After confirming a late arrival, there was nobody working there when we arrived so we had to find another hotel.
