Located in the Bitterroot River Valley of western Montana, this rental cabin is your gateway to superb trout fishing, mountain biking, hiking, river rafting, hunting, climbing, horseback riding and wildlife watching. In late summer and fall we often have 30 to 100 elk on our property. Painthorse Trail Cabin sits on 15 acres of old ranch hay meadows along the Lewis and Clark Trail.

Located in the southern end of the Bitterroot River valley between the Sapphire and Bitterroot mountain ranges, the cabin offers beautiful views in every direction.
