We spent two nights at the Peace of the Prairie B&B located on the north side of Choteau (April, 2011). Freeze Out Lake, just south of town was our destination where we saw many birds including show geese, tundra swans, white pelicans and many others. The B&B is run by a very nice lady that we enjoyed talking to and who provided wonderful breakfasts. I will try to post a picture of our room and another that shows a wonderful, now defunct old homestead that is on the property and was viewable from the window of our room I almost don't want to give a good rating- wouldn't want it to get so popular & busy that it's hard to book a room! My husband & I enjoyed our stay immensely. I don’t care for cutesy frilly décor, this was both tasteful and comfortable. My husband & I enjoyed our stay immensely and plan to return.
