The hotel was nice, but it was very noisy at night. I<BR/>could hear the people above me and next to me. Bed was very nice though.

Positives: Beds.

Negatives: Expensive for what

The hotel was classy, staff friendly/helpful, location ideal.

Positives: The location was ideal for doing things in the downtown area, the beds were very comfortable.

Negatives: Parking, you have to pay to park.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. I did not like being stuck across the street from the main portion of the hotel. It doesnt feel like the safest neighborhood at night. With another person, it is better. It is close to the Sprint Center and Power and Light District for entertainment.

Positives: Close to Power and Light District.

Negatives: They stuck me in the tower across the street; it's a trek to get there from the lobby.

This hotel was great. We stayed there the night before KC chief's home opener. Our only problem was at check in. There were so many cars waiting to be parked. I went in to check in, and while I was inside, we were blocked in by other guests. It took 45 minutes to have all of the cars that were in front of us parked by valet service.

Positives: The room service was great and the bed was comfortable.

Negatives: Check in was difficult because of the cars at the front.

A very good location in the middle of downtown Kansas city. Although the room seemed average, the bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and I enjoyed my stay there very much.

Positives: The location was excellent.

Negatives: Seemed out of date and the bathroom was not in very good condition.

The hotel itself is nice. The area is quite scary after dark. There were people throwing huge rocks at cars, fighting, screaming at police, and jumping into the backs of cars and driving away before the police could catch them. The heat did not work; it simply blew cold air around. When we checked out, they checked us out as the wrong room. Otherwise, the hotel room was nice. It was well decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The view of Kansas city is excellent, but unfortunately scary at the same time! If it was in a different area, I would consider going back.

Positives: The rooms were well equipped and beautiful. Bed was extremely comfortable. View was nice.

Negatives: There was a riot outdoors, complete with 15 police cars and 3 police wagons. The heat did not work in the room, & we were checked out as someone else.

Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay. It had an awesome location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only minus to it was when we got back in our car, the driver's side window was off track. I had a band-aid over that particular switch because I knew I needed to get it fixed. The valet person acted as though nothing had happened, when clearly he knew what was done, the band-aid had been removed and completely discarded. It wasn't a big deal though, to me, because I knew there was a problem with it. He should have mentioned it though and not acted so oblivious to what he had done. The rest of the stay was fabulous!

Positives: Fast check-out, great location, & helpful employees!

Negatives: The valet guy messed up my window then acted like he didn't notice.

There is nothing to do downtown. The downtown area was dead. Its much better from now on to stay outside of downtown. Besides all of the construction its a mess.

Positives: The price.

Negatives: Its next to the convention center which made it very busy.

The main hotel was very nice. However they had a second tower across the street that was a little remote and run down. My room was supposed to be in this location, but they were kind enough to change it to the main hotel because my room was not ready.

Positives: Helpful staff.

Negatives: Second location across the street not as nice.

We had a very enjoyable stay. We stayed just to get away from life and take a much needed break. Our expectations were met.

Positives: The beds and the bedding were wonderful.

Negatives: The swimming pool was on the 22nd floor and there was not access to it through the elevator.

Decent quality hotel with a good downtown location. Rooms are large but this makes the furnishing seem inadequate Bathroom is well sized with the age old problem of steam obscured mirrors still unresolved. The are of the hotel and "misuse" by previous guests is beginning to show.

Positives: View of downtown Kansas City area was excellent from room.

Negatives: Drive to main hotel entry. Crowed and backed up for several minutes.

Besides paying extra for the hotel parking, I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel.

Very nice hotel, located downtown Kansas City, walking distance to theatre attractions. Very clean. Bedding was exceptionally nice. Only drawback is the parking. They charge you $10 per night and sometimes, the parking is full and you have to find your own spot on the street and risk leaving your car out all night. However, I would definitely stay there again. Very Nice.

Positives: Indoor parking, The staff allowed me to change to a different room because I did not like the location of the first room.

Negatives: Charge of $10 per day for parking.

The hotel was convenient, clean and the staff polite and Courteous. However each morning of my stay at 8:15 housekeeping was knocking on my door, not only awaking prematurely, but returned 20 min later to do so again. I felt it was abrupt, pre mature, and in very poor customer service to be awoken not once but twice each day as though I had overstayed my welcome. This I find particularly inappropriate and offensive given that checkout time is not until 12pm. Just a small piece of trivia for those who read this. It used to be customary to place a pineapple top on a guests breakfast tray to indicate politely that they had overstayed their welcome, perhaps Marriott should take stock in that concept or at least improve their customer service.

Positives: Very clean room, incredibly nice bed.

Negatives: I felt heavily rushed to check out.
