The continental breakfast was very skimpy on choices than I have experienced in the past. The vent on the air conditioner was held on by duct tape and fell off easy when getting out of bed. Infestation of small ants coming from the window area over the closet and down to the counter where you could study or eat. One lady at the desk said she would tell maintenance, but no one showed up. Finally got the cleaning lady to get some spray and that stopped them for the rest of the stay. The beds were the best feature. Swimming pool was down for maintenance the whole time, very small, and the water was scummy looking like it had been closed for several days before we got there.
Positives: Air conditioner stayed cool and the tub was non-slip texture.
Negatives: Had a lot of ants entering from the window area to the area we had food.

This room was not as nice as the room in the same hotel a month earlier. Needs updating. Good for the Priceline price we paid, but not for the going rate for this hotel.
Positives: Very clean.
Negatives: Needed updating especially the bed mattress.

This hotel is poorly managed! The rooms are small and dirty. The heater was either too hot or too cold. The free breakfast consisted of cereal and cold bagels. The laundry facilities are out in the open and can be heard at all hours of the night. There were people going in and out of their rooms till 2 am. The atmosphere was cheap at best! The staff was unfriendly and never at the front desk. The pool was ice cold and there were no pool towels for guest to use. I will never stay at this hotel again!
Positives: Nothing!
Negatives: The rooms are small and cheap!

Negatives: No coffee pot in room.

This place is a good place to only sleep at and not really fresh. If you want a nice clean hotel, pay extra $10 or $20 dollars and stay at another hotel close by.
Positives: Location and price were good.
Negatives: The pool was dirty nad the hotel was worn down.

Probably one of the worst 2 star hotel I've stayed in. Smelled bad, bed sheets were old, no elevator. I will avoid all Microtel Inns in the future.
Positives: Only the location.
Negatives: Not clean, smelled bad and bedding was old and thread bear.

Very close to the freeway, well kept and extremely clean. The television, like in most hotels, needs an upgrade. The only other negative comment would be about the metal fixtures in the bathroom and the bathroom door. They had some rust starting to show through the paint on the door trim and the water has started to corrode some of the sinks metal drain stopper. Beds were comfortable and the use of space was smart. The room didn't need a fridge but had one and one wall was entirely covered with a huge mirror. There was a nice bay window with seating that was very a nice touch, due to not enough space in the room for a sofa.
Positives: Extremely clean for the price.
Negatives: Some guests noisy, playing guitar, children running, jumping on floor above. Explosion noise in the middle of the night.

The place looked nice but I was there 5 nights and only 1 employee the whole time. I was there who spoke good English. I had a 5 month old baby with me and she had just got to sleep, the housekeeper knocked the door and I opened it and put the do not disturb sign on the door while kindly telling her, sleeping baby (she did not speak English). She knocked again but I did not answer so she went to the front desk and called my room. The ringing woke up the baby and she could not even speak enough English to tell me what she called for. I had to wait till the next morning when the lady that spoke English was there so I could tell someone that I had a baby and not to call my room. The indoor pool was like ice. Although everything else seemed ok.
Positives: It was fairly quiet at night and indoor access to the room.
Negatives: The indoor pool was very cold, the staff did not speak English.

This was a decent hotel for the price. Friendly staff, nice location. Was a little worn for being only a few years old. Continental breakfast wasn't much, but I've seen worse. Would stay again.
Positives: Easy access to rooms.
Negatives: Worn for being a newer hotel.

Most definitely this hotel has been around a while. It was not dirty but nicks in paint, thin sheets, etc.
Positives: Price, convenient location.
Negatives: Minimal furnishings (no lamps), somewhat worn appearance of room, stained grout.
