Days Inn of Jefferson City is a good, low-cost alternative to pricier hotels in the city. Located on the south part of town, it is convenient to the downtown/Capitol area and is well suited for travelers moving along Highway 54. The facility is very typical of an economy-minded motor-inn. Staff was friendly and the common areas were very clean. The facility was built for function, not form, but was very suitable for business or pleasure travelers who want a clean, safe, comfortable night's sleep, without the high price tag.
Positives: Common areas were very clean and well kept.
Negatives: Nothing bad. Typical, run-of-the-mill economy lodging.

Good value for the price. Clean room, would stay for business but not for pleasure.
Positives: The staff was friendly and it was right off the highway.
Negatives: Baseball team staying there trashed the pool area and were running up and down the halls.

Not a bad hotel, would be much better if they stopped using bedspreads.
Positives: The hotel was clean.
Negatives: They still use bed spreads instead of duvet's and the bath sink water had no pressure.

The beds are small, hot tub was scalding. Take your own towels and pray you don't get a room by the stairwells. Kids and their parents use them to run races up and down slamming the doors until the pool closes. The room has a bit of a mildew smell but I can't tell if it's the room or their towels. Will not stay here again, Next visit to Jeff City we will spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. Lesson learned.
Positives: Check out.
Negatives: Not enough room for - feedback here.

I would never stay there again. The lock issues I had were not uncommon. There were at least two other customers with similar issues.
Positives: Location to highway. Easy to find.
Negatives: The locks had issues and the flip bolt lock was broken off.

Clean, good size, reasonably priced. I didn't take advantage, but they offer a continental breakfast every morning.
Positives: King size bed, reasonably priced.
Negatives: Slight off color odor in the room.

Fair hotel. Pool area was not properly vented. The smell of chlorine was throughout the hotel.
Positives: Staff was friendly.
Negatives: Lobby smelled of chlorine. It is really bad while you were eating.

The hotel was excellent. The breakfast was small, but perfect for what we needed. I would definitely stay there again. The price was perfect. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay in Jefferson City. The weather was cold, which prevented some tourism, but the hotel was friendly and it made everything just fine. Without a good hotel, the trip could have been a failure.
Positives: I really enjoyed the convenient location, pool, and the room size.
Negatives: We ended up with a smoking room, so our luggage smelled after, but it was fine while there.

We chose this because of the discounts it gives to Military. We were given a room with a King size bed. What a great room we have. It was clean, and a beautiful room. The bed was so comfortable, and the room was nice and clean. We will definitely stay here again when in Jefferson city on pleasure or business. We did not have any complains. Would suggest they add more to their breakfast.
Positives: Nice clean comfortable room. Very satisfied.
Negatives: Breakfast could use some more items. (Biscuits and gravy) and maybe waffles.

This hotel was very clean and had everything that I could need.
Positives: They gave me a room a short distance from the desk. This was good as my dad is 86.
Negatives: Nothing.

I will not stay at this hotel again. I expected so much more from a Days Inn. The first thing that greeted us as we stepped off the elevator to go to our 3rd floor non-smoking room was the smoke. The hallway reeked of it. After sleeping on a worn out mattress, we requested a different room and were moved to the second floor. The mattress was not much better and the room wasn't any fresher. One morning I was awaken at 4:00 a.m. by the person staying in the room above who appeared to be stomping across the floor off and on until 6:30. The hotel is getting a run down look to it.
Positives: The price.
Negatives: There were no coffee pots in the room.

The room was so hot it was unbelievable even though it was December we couldn't sleep! I usually get good rooms from you, this time I was disjointed. I normally tell others about you.
Positives: The showerhead was ok.
Negatives: Weren't too friendly & no air.

This hotel was just what I was expecting from a Days Inn. Clean rooms, convenient location. The staff members were generally nice and kept to themselves and did not ask a lot of questions.
Positives: Good hotel despite the outside appearance.
Negatives: Small continental breakfast.

We've stayed at this hotel before and had the same experience. Unfortunately our budget restricted us once again from going anywhere else. The evening staff was not friendly & made us feel as if we were bothersome by our request for towels to go swimming. We were told we could not get a room with 2 beds because they were all booked, was able to switch my room. Phone staff was unfriendly as well, that included the manager. However, this time the pool was clean. And the continental breakfast isn't that bad, it offered food that my children would eat, that was nice. We made sure that we asked for needed items during the morning, early day as that clerk was helpful and friendly.
Positives: The morning desk clerk was the only one who ever smiled or was helpful.
Negatives: All other employees, room was stained & carpets felt dirty.

Positives: Its having ambient rooms with good and friendly staff and loved the breakfast.
Negatives: The elevators are not so good.

It's a Days Inn so you get what you pay for but I thought the facilities and room were very adequate. Restaurants close by. Pool and Jacuzzi were closed for renovations but they looked nice. Would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.
Positives: I got to admit, nicest 1 star I been to.
Negatives: Would have been nice to have the pool and Jacuzzi open.

I would recommend this hotel. It's location is ideal for those traveling to the Lake of the Ozark area and Jefferson City. A continental breakfast was available.
Positives: Days Inn had ample parking spaces and appeared to be recently remodeled.
Negatives: The hallways were not air conditioned.

My son was having surgery out of town and we had to be at the hospital at 6am. The hotel was close to the hospital and very inexpensive. We chose this particular hotel because of the location, price, and the fact that they had an indoor pool. Upon arriving, after my son's pre-op, we were informed that the pool was closed. We had been promising an evening of swimming to a sick little boy who had been stuck with needles all day so we were very unhappy with the pool being closed. As for the hotel itself, well you get what you pay for. If our trip had been for a vacation we would not have chosen this particular hotel but it was well suited for what we needed it for (other then the pool being closed.)
Positives: The price was very reasonable.
Negatives: The indoor pool was closed.

For the money I wouldn't recommend it. Just because it had a continental breakfast doesn't mean it's great. The pool was dirty - along with the hot tub. Our room was filthy. There were pills (some sort of medication...) on the floor (we have 3 small children) and the carpet was so dirty we could feel the dirt when we took off our shoes - it left our feet nearly black. After expressing my concerns about the cleanliness of the carpet during my checkout, the desk clerk gave an excuse as to the white stain in the corner (didn't mention it upon check-in) and I still told him that all the carpets needed to be cleaned. he didn't seem too appreciative of the feedback. All in all I would rate our stay at a 3 - just because the breakfast was very good, they provided a highchair for our baby & the kids had fun in the pool.
Positives: The location to where we needed to go was great, and it had a pool for the kids!
Negatives: Our room was filthy - the carpets especially. After walking on the floor barefoot, our feet were almost black.

Staff friendly. Clean. Good breakfast buffet. Nice large room.
Positives: I liked room arrangement and the hotel was very clean.
Negatives: Ice Machine sign unclear. Did not find ice soon enough.
