Our power went out at home because of a storm. We went to the nearest place to stay for the night, so we went to this Roadway Inn which is about a mile away. I could not believe that this place actually charges for people to stay there. It's like out of a scene from a horror movie. When we went in, the AC was off so it was incredibly hot, sticky and smelled terrible. The sheets smelled so bad I had to sleep on top of my own clothes and use my own blanket. The bathroom floor was disgusting - worst than a heavily trafficked public bathroom. The first time I used it, there were two spiders on the floor and the sink was filthy. The carpet is sticky and felt disgusting walking barefooted so we had to leave our shoes on. Thank God, the stay was only for about 8 hours. I can't believe that they charge people to stay in such disgusting places. Good things: The staff was very nice and they have free Wi-Fi. Other than that, I think I was better off sleeping in my powerless home.
Positives: Staff was nice.
Negatives: I can't even describe was disgusting, the place was. Absolutely horrific.

Our party of 4 had a double queen room with a fridge, and microwave. It was a decent size room, had comfortable beds and pillows. Our bathroom was clean, but the rack fell out of wall when we hung a towel, and we told the front desk, and they were happy to tell who they needed to get it fixed. It was better then we expected. We all said we would stay there again. Our room was clean. The breakfast was good in the am. We had no problems. The hallways had a few stains on the carpet, but our room was good.
Positives: This hotel was a lot better then I expected. I was impressed on how much the beds and pillows were so comfortable. It was a good size room.
Negatives: I thought the hallways leading to room had a few major stains, but the room was good, no problems.
