It was very nice basic hotel, great price. If you are looking for a nice place to lay your head for an affordable price without all the bells & whistles you probably don't really need anyway this is the place.
Positives: Easy to find; easy to check in clean; friendly staff.
Negatives: Had somewhat limited breakfast options.

For the price it is more adequate. Clean facility and professional friendly staff.
Positives: The staff was courteous and professional.
Negatives: It did not have a pool. I did not see a workout facility.

Overall, a good experience. 2 negatives were the cigarette smell in the lobby throughout our 2 night stay. The other, a curtain is needed to separate the sink area from the bed/TV space.
Positives: Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet.
Negatives: Strong smell of cigarettes in the first floor lobby area.

Clean, nice, staff and<BR/>breakfast.
Positives: Clean.
Negatives: Very busy with many bikers for a biker fest in the area.

I request a room with refrigerator, I did not got. The TV remote did not work. Room no Smoke. I receive a room smelling as smoke. The door could not get close or lock.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Under Construction. Nothing was working right as TV.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Had to leave early so we didn't get to enjoy the breakfast, but that would have been a plus. Child was having tests at the hospital early.
Positives: King-sized bed awesome & comfortable. Didn't have any trouble falling to sleep or back to sleep after caring for child.
Negatives: Elevator broke before we arrived, but was told it would be fixed by 10 the following morning.

Overall it was OK. However the main reason for selecting it was because of the advertised free internet, so that we could meet others to work on a presentation together. We needed access to the internet to complete our work, but it was down the whole time. The front desk person called to try to get it fixed, but it never came up.
Positives: The free breakfast was nice.
Negatives: The internet service did not work.

It was OK for a short stay. The people at the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Positives: The hotel staff and those they are pet friendly.
Negatives: Room needed to be painted.

This hotel is well placed next to Columbia mall and I-70. It was formerly a different hotel apparently and the building, parking lot and surroundings show their age. The interior of the public portions of the hotel are way overdue for new carpet, paint et cetera. Worse, the room we had was not clean. There was an apparent feces stain on the bed sheet. It was disgusting. When we asked the front desk clerk to have the sheets changed he acted a little put out but they did it. Finally, the facilities in the room (toilet, shower, sink, vanity and such) have seen better days, but even those days weren't that good. It was just a cheaply put together room, and it showed. I wouldn't stay there again unless I was homeless.
Positives: The staff was friendly.
Negatives: The room was not clean.

The Columbia Baymont Suites has seen better days. It is tired now and fallen into disrepair. The carpets are worn, the corners have accumulated too much filth, and the staff has become weary and careworn. Breakfast is lackluster, white bread, and ordinary. Three years ago, I felt well-attended at this establishment; last weekend, I felt like an overlooked, taken-for-granted renter in a downtown flat.
Positives: The hotel was near the place I wanted to go.
Negatives: The hotel was not very clean, the staff was not especially friendly, and the breakfast was not especially delicious.

This was absolutely the worst experience that I have had. This hotel was terrible for the price. Also, the only "discount" I received was $5.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: The room was small. The staff was rude. The lobby was dirty.

Went to take shower in morning no water made for a miserable day.
Positives: Convenient.
Negatives: No water in shower.

This hotel was horrible; they mixed up and gave us a smoking room when the confirmation said non smoking. Staff was okay. Linens were stained and dirty, there was hair in the tub. I have stayed in motels better than this. Breakfast was really good though.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Dirty, disgusting, very poorly kept up, nasty towels and linens.

It's a basic good, clean place to stay for an overnight on the road. Nothing fancy, but easy to get to off the highway and near several restaurants.
Positives: Room was clean and had a lot of open floor space.
Negatives: Had to wait a long time at the desk for the clerk on the phone.

I would not recommend this property to anyone and will not stay in another Baymont Inn and Suites. The price was way too high for the lack of value received.
Positives: Shower head.
Negatives: Most everything - front desk service slow, walls thin, all night party.

Reasonably priced. Comfortable clean room and bath. Average continental breakfast.
Positives: Comfortable bed and good AC.
Negatives: Area around rear door was dirty, door propped open.

It was very nice and quiet. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
Positives: The location.
Negatives: The elevator was slow.

It was okay because we were only there for about 10 hours. However, I would not stay there again because it is in need of a face lift and there are several other newer and nicer hotels in the area that probably offer comparable rates.
Positives: It's convenient location.
Negatives: It had a grubby feel to it and is rather outdated and old.

Nice area and convenient to get to.
Positives: Friendly staff.
Negatives: Small and old.

I will recommend my family and friends to stay at this hotel. It was great, and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
Positives: The hotel was excellent for my stay. I will stay at the hotel again.
Negatives: I did not have any disadvantage for this hotel. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

We liked the idea that this hotel was within easy access to all attractions around the university. We also noticed how quiet it was. We never heard other guests or the interstate which was close by. The staff was awesome and so very friendly and we will stay there again when visiting Columbia, MO.
Positives: The staff was very friendly. The hotel was very quiet and elegant!
Negatives: Can't find any fault in this hotel.

The hotel was dated but very clean. The beds were very old and squeaked every time you moved but were actually pretty comfortable.
Positives: It was in a great location, close to restaurants, shopping, and the highway.
Negatives: The walls were kind of thin to the point of waking up in the middle of the night and think someone is walking in your room. Scary!
