The Eola is a nice place to stay if you traveling alone or with one other person. The room barely had 2-3 feet on either side of a queen size bed. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear your neighbors.
Positives: I liked the location and balconies.
Negatives: The room was very small.

I ate in the restaurant only once. There were only three people in the entire restaurant. The food was only moderately good and the service was slow even though there were no other dining customers. The public spaces were pretty but my room was small with no view. The bath was small and cramp. Parking was across the street from the hotel and there was no valet parking available. I signed a price quote upon arrival but the price I was charged upon departure was more than I was quoted. I probably will not return to the Natchez Eola Hotel.
Positives: The lobby/public spaces were grand.
Negatives: The view from my window was the rooftop of the hotel below.

I love this hotel. Stayed there many times through the years.
Positives: Well preserved historical property.
Negatives: Bedding was not plush.

The Hotel had its 80th birthday this year. A lot of the baby boomers Mom's and Dad's honeymooned there years ago. The restaurant is beautiful and I enjoyed dancing in the Ballroom for the new year's eve party. It is located right downtown and received a very expensive facelift not to long ago.
Positives: The Ballroom Dance with the Jazzes.
Negatives: Rooms are very small but it is 80 yrs old.

This hotel is very old and has a lot of history. It has a great deal of old south charm. The room I stayed in was very small, and the bath area was even smaller. The lobby and other command areas were very nice. The parking left a lot to be desired.
Positives: A lot of history, location.
Negatives: Small room and bathroom, parking.

I played in band for New Year's eve party. It was fine. This was the fifth or sixth time I have played there and always enjoy it.
Positives: Friendly clerks.
Negatives: Parking lot needs to be improved-better TV reception.

I expected a nice room; I was not looking for luxury, just something adequate and clean. I did not find this. I have stayed in cheaper places that were a lot nicer.
Positives: The restaurant food was good.
Negatives: Dirty, wallpaper peeling; heat not working properly.

My husband and I had a great time the night we stayed. However the whole trip left a bad taste in my mouth two days later. A friend had ordered a bottle of champagne to be delivered to our room as a surprise. We did not know about it. The bottle never arrived. My friend spoke with the general manager who said we did in fact receive it and ordered another bottle of wine on top of that. According to him, he had witnesses. I called and was treated very rudely by the general manager. Once the dust cleared, he found that his "witnesses" were not as reliable as he thought. My friend was not charged. However we had to do battle before the general manager really checked into the situation. As of yet, neither of us has received and apology. I will never stay or recommend anyone stay due to this situation.
Positives: The balcony.
Negatives: General manager and staff.

Positives: Cleanliness of the room and the beautiful décor.
Negatives: Parking accommodations with my car weren't the best.

Older remodeled hotel that is very convenient to the Natchez downtown area. In walking distance to many of the historic places to visit. Beautifully furnished rooms, lobby, restaurant. Staff friendly and courteous. Would recommend the Eola Hotel to friends and family.
Positives: Convenient location to downtown area, quietness.
Negatives: Parking facilities were less than expected. Space was limited and often had to park on the city street.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The history of it makes it all the more beautiful. Beautifully decorated. Very clean. The only thing I was disappointed in the size of the rooms. But I understand because it is a historic building and they can't do a lot of remodeling to it.
Positives: The view of downtown Natchez was beautiful.
Negatives: The room was a little small.

I really liked this hotel. It was intimate and quiet, and I loved the big bathtub. The staff were very nice and friendly, however, the breakfast buffet was overpriced and not that tasty, but I would definitely stay there again.
Positives: The quietness and the big bathtub.
Negatives: Not enough parking close to the hotel.

I enjoyed this hotel so much. It has a charming atmosphere and a small, but very pleasant courtyard. The hotel food was dependably good and it is also conveniently located to the downtown historic district. A number of restaurants and houses/museums are within walking distance. I recommend this hotel.
Positives: The hotel is centrally located in a downtown historic area and is within only a few blocks of a number of good restaurants.
Negatives: I wanted to stay longer.

Unfortunately someone got my credit card number and charged that night at another hotel in Louisiana. I can't imagine how that would have happened. That was the only disappointing thing that happened for this stay. The hotel was very comfortable.
Positives: Older historic hotel being remodeled most of the original remains.
Negatives: See 15.

Excellent service, beautiful location, very comfortable. Room was not huge, but priced accordingly. My only complaint is the location of the toilet in relation to the door and wall as it is a bit close for comfort.
Positives: Great atmosphere.
Negatives: Bathroom was a bit cramped.
