Places to stay in Noyes, Minnesota
Noyes is a community in Saint Vincent Township, Kittson County, Minnesota. Located in the extreme northwestern corner of the state, it was an important border-crossing location going back to the days of ox roads. It is the northern terminus of US Route 75 and the site where the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe and Soo Line Railroads enter Canada. With the development of Interstate 29 on the opposite side of the nearby North Dakota border, US Route 75 has declined in importance, and the corresponding Canadian border crossing in Emerson, Manitoba closed in 1999. With the duty-free store closed, Noyes is close to becoming a ghost town. Local dining options include Bridgestone Bar And Grill.
If you are travelling in the area, Noyes is located close to Louden Coulee, County Ditch Number 42, County Ditch Number Twentynine, County Drain Number 42 and Houghton National Wildlife Management Area.
