Nice place to sleep but don't eat there. Food quality was terrible and staffing level was inadequate.
Positives: Lobby clean and staff friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean.
Negatives: Restaurant experience was terrible. Ate the for dinner and food came out cold. They reheated it and the food dried out. Understaffed breakfast service.

The staff was extremely polite and efficient during check-in. Prior to check-in I was able to request a room with two double beds and non-smoking. I was actually told that their hotel was entirely non-smoking. Well, that may be true, but it was clear to me that the room we received had been smoked in. I could smell the stale smoke as soon as I walked in, but other than that, the room was clean and pleasant.
Positives: Vincent, the doorman was amazing. He was extremely kind and helpful to us immediately as far as directing us to tourist destinations.
Negatives: The pool was too cold and i watched several people slip and fall on the pool tile. jacuzzi not working was disappointing.

I have stayed in this hotel before and enjoyed very much w no complaints. This time, my room shade was stuck in the down position and never fixed so room dark all the time. I think my room was below the gym because I heard banging all the time and could hear the guest next door putting clothes away in the closet and talking on the phone all the time. I was told first night that room service to busy to bring me just dessert, which is one reason I picked that hotel, so I could get room service!
Positives: Nice room and comfy bed.
Negatives: TV

Hotel was clean and in a good condition and the location was perfect for what I was doing in Springfield. Room was very clean and comfortable. Pool area was average and whirlpools were both under repairs and not working. Fitness area was fantastic (mainly because they are actually a fitness club open to the public). I was disappointed that I had to pay $12.95 extra per day for parking and that there was no refrigerator in the room.
Positives: Centrally located in downtown Springfield.
Negatives: Charged extra for parking and no refrigerator in room.

This hotel was clean, accomodating, excellent staff, facilities were uo at date, helpful even the maintenance men were good as I had some trouble with my car. Telephones were easy to use. Linens were always fresh in the morning. For a very stressful trip I could not have ask for a better place to stay, it was so much like home. My grandson was in the Shriners Hospital having his foot and partial leg amputation, he is one year old.
Positives: I felt safe, I was there with a surgical patient at Shriner's Hospital so I came and went at all hours.
Negatives: Of all the restaurants the only one open while I was there was a sports bar, I did not mind.

For what I thought I'd get out of this hotel, I was very disappointed. $12 a day for parking, $9.99 for Internet and only one person per room could use it. No breakfast, no restaurants close to the hotel had to drive 10 minutes to find a good place to eat. The Holiday Inn or Hilton Garden Inn would have been a much better deal for you $ and only minutes away.
Positives: Good location.
Negatives: Pay for Internet, pay for parking, and no breakfast.

Lots of construction going on.
Positives: Nice room, adequate exercise room.
Negatives: Nice restaurant, but never open. You had to eat in a dingy bar.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, but the staff could have paid more attention to the comfort of the guests. The staff assigned me a room that was located on a floor where they were hosting a girl cheerleaders convention. They were loud, banged against the walls and slammed the door what well into 2:00 am or later. I called the front desk three times and although they told me that they would send security, the noise never abated. Could not get one wink of sleep. In the morning they assembled in the hallway early and woke me off after I had managed to fall asleep. I should get a refund.
Positives: Location was convenient. It was clean, comfortable.
Negatives: This was among the worst stay I've have ever had in a hotel.

The overall appearance of the hotel was very nice. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were so luxurious. The only drawback would be that the restaurant was closed some of the time.
Positives: The beds were luxurious.
Negatives: The hotel restaurant was not always open.

Nice hotel to look at; rooms comfortable; friendly staff, good location, but would not return. The hotel advised out front asking people to book parties. It was very loud up to 3 am. The noise from the partiers was made worse by the hotel structure, creating a tremendous echo.
Positives: Clean and friendly service.
Negatives: Its a party hotel. it was very loud. The design is nice, but with a lot of echo, making sleeping difficult.

This is a very attractive site in the heart of the city. The hotel is clean, very nicely decorated in earthy tones. The beds are very comfortable with good quality linens. I had a very delicious breakfast delivered on time to my room by a very nice room service person. If not for the 6:30 a.m. construction, it would have been a perfect stay.
Positives: Well lit indoor parking with easy access to lobby.
Negatives: Construction started at 6:30 a.m., loud guest outside room until 3

I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends<BR/>and stay here again myself.
Positives: It was extremely clean
Negatives: There really wasn't anything

While the location is conveniently placed next to the highway, the hotel itself was a disappointment. The lobby was impersonal. The staff was polite but not gracious. The rooms had an awful cheap perfume smell that we deduced was the carpet cleaning solution
Positives: Convenient to the highway.
Negatives: Toxic smell in rooms; parking very difficult.
Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 21 Jul 2009 rated 9 out of 10.
The rooms were average and I was not impressed with the bedding or design.
Positives: Friendly and helpful staff.
Negatives: You are charged a daily parking fee that is automatically added to your room.

This was a beautiful hotel and everything was outstanding.
Positives: Amazing interior design.
Negatives: It was in Springfield.

I would very much recommend this hotel for family and a single person. Great restaurants.
Positives: Size of room and friendliness.
Negatives: Painting.

Stayed at the Sheraton with another mom and our three daughters. Some upscale hotels can be less than welcoming to 5 people who plan to share a room, however the staff at the Sheraton was very accommodating. Indoor pool was lovely and kid friendly. Wonderful stay.
Positives: Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful.
Negatives: Tiled bathroom could have used some updating.

I think this hotel was way over rated. The cleanliness was awful. The rooms were not updated. Stains on carpets. We had to get our room switched because the first one they put us in was awful. For this being a 3 star I was very disappointed. The concierge floor was horrible. No food left. Very few drinks. The breakfast left little to be desired. I would not stay here again!
Positives: The staff was excellent to work with.
Negatives: I have many things that I didn't like too many to list.

Great hotel if you want to listen to drunken teenagers / college students partying in the hallways at 3:00 a.m. while physically threatening guests who dared to complain. Don't expect rooms to be in perfect order. Leaks from air conditioning units and soggy carpets are a problem that does not get fixed on their own.
Positives: Staff did try to please.
Negatives: Leak in room / soggy carpet my entire stay / noise.

We have stayed at a number of Sheraton Hotels and have always been pleased. Would stay again, this particular room could use a thorough review. Check wall plate, TV remote, pillow covers fit pillows and sounded like a faint drip, drip in the bathroom wall! Overall, pleasant.
Positives: Unique design was pleasant.
Negatives: Never found the TV remote.

A great place to stop along the way while traveling. Room service was quite good.
Positives: I really like the location and the view of the river.
Negatives: I briefly got stuck in the elevator.

Great location just off I-91 in Springfield. Rooms were clean and of good size. Bedding was very comfortable though overall furnishings were a little tired. This is a large property, nothing intimate about it. However, for my needs it was perfect. Staff was friendly and the food was above average.
Positives: Good value and easy access to I-91.
Negatives: Parking is $10 extra.

The hotel itself was very nice. The staff was very friendly, amenities were clean and the rooms were more than comfortable; however, internet was not free, parking was not free, in order to order room service, you needed to leave a massage and hope someone called you back. We saw a chicken bone in the hallway and it was still there when we left. The restaurant hours were not very convenient, although room service was. One could hear everything through the walls. The stay was ok but not 3 star.
Positives: The mattress was amazingly comfortable - unlike other hotels.
Negatives: Noisy, trouble ordering room service, pay for parking.

Great place to stay comfortable beds, great location and friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely suggest this hotel to friends and family and would definitely stay there again.
Positives: Great location close to Six Flags rooms spacious.
Negatives: Paying 9.95 per night for parking.

My worst hotel experience ever. By far. The hotel was unprepared for a group that was staying there, and the club-goers this group decided to bring back at 2am. Unbelievable noise, shouting matches, etc. I couldn't sleep from 2-4am.
Positives: The room itself was nice.
Negatives: Noise at 2am!
Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 06 Aug 2008 rated 3 out of 10.
The rooms open onto an open atrium, so noise can carry from other floors. Children were running and screaming through hallways until midnight or so. Maintenance is substandard. A chair in my room had a long split seam. It appeared that furniture was missing as the bed was way to the left on a long empty wall, the electrical cords for the lamp & clock were stretched across the open space. The wireless Internet access didn't work and wasn't fixed during my 2-night stay even though I'd made multiple support requests. All electricity in the bathroom cut out my first night, was fixed the next day after I reported it. Downtown Springfield is largely dead on weekends, very few places to eat. I was very disappointed and would neither stay here again nor recommend this hotel.
Positives: Parking attendant & front desk people nice.
Negatives: Wireless Internet didn't work (2 nights), stuffy/bad smell on my floor (outside room), very noisy - children screaming in hallways.

The hotel is nice and clean. Ideally located if you are going to Six Flags New England. The only complaint I am having is that the air-conditioning in the room is blowing the air directly into the bed, sometimes uncomfortable. Overall, a nice hotel to stay in.
Positives: Clean, staffs are friendly, ideally located to Six Flags New England.
Negatives: The air conditioning is blowing into the bed directly, not comfortable.

We stayed in this hotel after a week of camping on Cape Cod. Maybe we were tired and tent-weary, but the stay felt luxurious and for such a great price. The property was located nicely in the city center, which wasn't a hassle on a weekend day with little traffic. Wish our stay could have been longer.
Positives: Great amenities; room service was great. Very family friendly; my partner and I had a great stay. Wish it was longer.
Negatives: Nothing I can think of.

Hotel was nice. Downtown location was convenient. Room was clean. Attached, parking garage was convenient -- and we had the choice of valet or self-park. The hotel has rooms along the perimeter with a very large open-air space from the 2nd floor to the roof in the middle of the building. (The architecture seemed a bit dated, but it was clean.) If you want complimentary internet access, expect to wait for one of two desktop computers to be available. Hotel met our needs and expectations, but nothing to write home about.
Positives: Clean room, self-park garage convenient.
Negatives: Hundreds of hotel rooms, yet complimentary internet access available via only two desktop computers.

Clean and comfy, lovely sports bar with great burgers. Would stay again.
Positives: Awesome mattress.
Negatives: Having to pay for parking.
