The Salem Inn has a great old world feel, like you have traveled back in time, which I find is very in touch with the whole experience of Salem.

Positives: Clean, very cozy and homely, with a great old world feel.

Negatives: Not a thing.

Quaint, lovely staff, historic. Narrow stairs and hallways, but high-ceilinged, spacious rooms. Nice restoration. Good location. Hard for people who can't do stairs.

Negatives: Stairs.

Starting at BOS-BOSTON LOGAN AIRPORT-15 MILES Exit airport and follow signs to Route 1A North- Revere/ Lynn. Merge onto Route 1A North- East Boston Parkway. Follow for approximately 2.6 miles. Continue on local roads towards Route 1 North- Saugus/ N.H.-Maine. Bear left on Route 60 West. Enter rotary and take the first exit on Route 107 North- Broadway. Follow for approximately 8.5 miles. Stay straight onto Essex Street. Turn right onto Summer Street. The Salem Inn will be on your left. Approximate 30 minute drive.
