Overall experience was good, just the bed we prefer and reserved is a King and got 2 double size. We arrived at the hotel at 10 pm after an overseas flight, and the restaurant was closed for take out. Didn't feel like having to go out again to get food.

Positives: Very clean and modern.

Negatives: We reserved a single King bed and got 2 double beds.

Good hotel for a one day business trip, not great for a vacation.

Positives: Actual price paid was OK, but wasn't worth more.

Negatives: Air-conditioning very noisy. Carpets didn't look to fresh, The view directly on the roof from 2nd floor.

It is clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom quite nice.

The hotel met all of my expectations. I liked the price, but I thought it might be in a noisy area since it is advertised as being in the Logan Airport area. I heard no air traffic and the rooms were very quite. This hotel provides an accessible and comfortable option in Boston without breaking the budget.

Positives: Rooms were large and comfortable. Both of the attached restaurants were very good.

Negatives: The view is not good (roof tops) and the highway access is not easy.

Would prefer not to stay here again. Hotel was having problems with the Internet/computers, staff in the restaurant were very new and inexperienced, some of the desk help also new and inexperienced, but very friendly.

Positives: Friendly staff.

Negatives: King mattress uncomfortable, sunk down in middle, we could not sleep on our side of the bed as we rolled together.

This hotel was exceptionally nice. The rooms were nice, clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay there.

Positives: Great location.

Negatives: The pool hours need to be extended by maybe an hour.

Clean, spacious rooms with Carabbas restaurant attached - not convenient if you want a quick breakfast, so not very business-friendly in that regard. Nice facility - I did not use the pool but there were many people using the clean, updated facility.

Positives: Front desk staff was very helpful.

Negatives: Housekeeping staff does not speak English.

Hotel was clean, view was not to be desired facing pile of trash. Still doing work on hotel and it shows outside though pretty quiet inside. Pool was not working for stay in early March. Not asked to use microwave behind desk at night. Front desk was very helpful and had a microwave sent to room.

Easily accessible from highway. When I travel for leisure, I always stay at a 4 star or greater. When Im traveling for busy quick overnight trips, I don't want the expense of a 4 star hotel, but I still require a hotel that is clean comfortable and safe. This hotel provided all that.

Positives: Very clean, staff accommodating.

Negatives: My room was near the lobby, lots of noisy children, but it did get quieter as it grew later.

I expected a little more from Holiday Inn. The restaurant was only open until 11 am, which was inconvenient as there were few other options.

The hotel was in a good location and the rooms were clean. It was a little difficult to get on the highway due to traffic and connecting intersection for Route 128 and the food was bad, however the restaurant connected to the hotel was excellent. We would stay there again.

Negatives: The food was bad, the bagels were burnt and like rubber.

The hotel was priced right for what is offered and met my expectations. It was clean and comfortable; pool was great, close to Salem, Boston, and Gloucester. We had stayed for our honeymoon and were on a budget and glad we made this choice.

Positives: I enjoyed our entire stay, room was comfortable and clean.

Negatives: I did not like the location of the hotel. It was good proximity to attractions, but driving to and from the hotel on a divided highway a nightmare!

Overall we would definitely stay here again. We were very impressed w/the quality and the cleanliness of the hotel for the price. The only thing I don't recommend is trying to find this place in 6'o clock traffic. We used this hotel for our stay over night so that we could see all of the Salem attractions in a two day span. It was a semi-convenient location to Salem.

Positives: The room size was absolutely perfect for the night we were there and the restaurant room service was superb!

Negatives: The older gentleman at the front desk could have been a little more courteous and attentive to our needs.

Front desk staff was extremely rude. I took my complaints to general manager. He took them seriously and I hope that staff improves greatly. Housekeeping staff was very pleasant and efficient however.

All in all, acceptable for a 3-star hotel, though rather expensive. Not sure if it is typical for the Boston area. Main objection is the terrible location on a busy divided highway. Plus there was only the one food place near the hotel, a big consideration because of the poor highway access. Hotel room was clean, shower ok. "Gym" had old equipment and was quite small. I didn't try the pool but it looked ok. Parking lot included unpaved edge areas with large mud puddles, not great for unloading/ loading luggage.

Positives: Quiet, internet access.

Negatives: Terrible location, few nearby food options, no refrigerator, lousy workout room.

Some of the people at the hotel were rude and looked like they didn't want to be there, but the people at night were helpful. The bedspread appeared stained and dingy. If I had to recommend a hotel to someone, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn.

Positives: When we went to get breakfast. The food was good.

Negatives: I did not like the smell of our room. I had to spray the air with Lysol. It didn't smell like cigarettes but musty.

Very clean, comfortable beds, good staff, restaurant is excellent. Everything a traveler could ask for and I stay at a lot of hotels. Good location, plenty of parking, clean ice machines (you wouldn't believe some hotels) Thank you for such a nice stay.

Positives: Excellent hotel, great restaurant, very convenient, wonderful way to start my week. Thank you.

Negatives: Only thing, I tried to call the restaurant to place an order to go so I didn't have to wait but I couldn't get room service to answer. No big deal .

They were clean rooms and a nice facility. It was very difficult to find the hotel and then to find the driveway. The night manager who checked us in was abrupt and rude to us on more than one occasion. Our two rooms were on completely different floors despite having booked 2 months ago. Not enough help in the restaurant, so there was no one to clean the tables. One room smelled musty.

Positives: The housekeeping staff was terrific.

Negatives: The night manager was very unfriendly and unhelpful.

This was a clean, comfortable room at a very good price. Hotel staff accommodated my early arrival, switching me to a smoking room for earlier check in, which was fine with me after being up for 30 hours.
