The Winstead Inn is situated in the village of Harwich in a residential area one block from the town center with easy access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail (for bicycling, jogging, and walking). The property consists of two buildings: the main building (with thirteen rooms and suites) and the Chandlery (originally a town store dating back to 1900) consisting of two units (Port and Starboard). A heated guest only outdoor pool with gardens as well as a patio area with fountain are available for your pleasure. The pool is open the Friday before Memorial Day thru October 15, 2014. All guests staying at the Winstead Inn have full use of the amenities at the Beach House situated 1.5 miles south on Nantucket Sound. A private car runs for Village Inn guests to the Beach House during the high season.

Nearby restaurants include Bank Street Grille, Cape Sea Grille, Dino's Harwichport Grill, and Cape Roots Market & Cafe.
