It was a great deal for the price, as it gave us a bit of luxury. Love the "Heavenly" features that the Westin is noted for, especially the dual headed shower.
Positives: It gave a resort like feeling, with beautiful interior design.
Negatives: It was bit of a walk from The Fanieul Hall area.

Great and excellent hotel. Staffs were very friendly. Location of the hotel at the convention center makes it difficult to take the T to Downtown (3 train changes). However, it only took us 30 minutes to walk to Boston Common.
Positives: Clean spacious room. Very friendly staff. Excellent stay.
Negatives: Location (30 minutes walk to Downtown).

For the amount I paid the room was no better than a Holiday Inn. Actually I've never been to a Holiday Inn that had chairs with torn and "wilted" furniture in its lobby. Though clean and (as advertised) a room with exceptional beds, we should have had at least one comfortable chair in the room and more than a tiny closet. The furniture was obviously overused. The "table" near the rickity chair was about the size of a small box and was chipped and built as if made by a student in a woodwork class. Though told to enjoy the items in the refrigerator...there was nothing to enjoy (or purchase)in the refrigerator.
Positives: The desk staff was exceptional!
Negatives: I expected more than furniture that looked as if it had come from Walmart.

I would recommend it to anyone, whether a business or leisure traveler.
Positives: The bedding was exceptional. The size of the room was extremely comfortable.
Negatives: Nothing.

The hotel was fantastic! The staff was really friendly and professional, from the guy who checked me in, to the porters who held my luggage from the time I checked out until my bus left, to the security head I called after I returned to DC to see if he could find and return my cell phone charger to me after I left it in the room.(No luck there, as the charger wasn't in the room anymore, but I really appreciated his efforts to send people up to look for it, and to take my name in case it was magically found.) The room, like the rest of the hotel, was gorgeous, and the king sized bed was ridiculously comfortable. The soap and shampoo were of unusually good quality, and the shower was one of the best I've had in a hotel--good water pressure, great shower head. I liked that there was a mini fridge in the room, and a small safe.
Positives: Every staff member I interacted with was super friendly, and the room and the rest of the hotel were posh.
Negatives: The hotel is not centrally located for walking, but it's very conveniently located for the silver line.

Room was very clean and nicely decorated. King size bed was wonderful as were all the pillows. Staff was friendly and room service was quick to deliver-food was excellent and prices were reasonable. Valet service was quick and friendly. Starbucks in the lobby was a quick and easy way for breakfast before heading out.
Positives: Room was large & clean, room service was quick and very good, location was close to attractions.
Negatives: The charge for valet service while staying in the hotel-should have been included or cheaper.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Westin Waterfront for a little romantic getaway, and we had such a wonderful time! Our room was spacious and had a fantastic view, and the bed was so comfy! They seemed to be very environmentally conscious, which was another plus. Would LOVE to book again!
Positives: It was upscale, accommodating and romantic. Loved it!
Negatives: Could use more check-in staff.

The Westin waterfront (Boston) deserves the 4 star rating. The rooms are spacious with nice views of the city and the water. The beds are very comfortable. The desk staff is friendly and gave us a free upgrade. It is about a mile walk to Quincy Market (my wife and I like to walk). I highly recommend this hotel.
Positives: Most comfy mattress.
Negatives: It is a bit of a walk to downtown Boston.

Negatives: Parking is $32 and $42 for valet. Not as close to downtown as I would have hoped and concierge not helpful.

Service was very good and the concierge knows the city inside and out. The rooms were on the small side, and there are no microwaves in the rooms. They made a mistake and billed me for an extra day, but resolved it as soon as I called. We forgot some items in the closet and housekeeping mailed them immediately. Busy, full hotel, but soundproofing must be excellent because we never heard any noise while in our rooms. Breakfast was ridiculously expensive, even for hotel food. Beds were very comfortable.

Front desk staff excellent. Hotel needs to provide adequate concierge staffing for peak periods. Long waiting lines. Beautiful and excellent facility especially for groups.
