I would avoid this hotel. There were too many issues not fixed with the room. The only plus to the hotel was that it was located close to the train.
Positives: Continental breakfast.
Negatives: The broken

Not a great value. First "non-smoking" room obviously smelled of smoke. Price too high for facilities. Staff working in continental breakfast area rude and non-customer friendly. Front desk staff nice and helpful. Parking area very hilly, so wouldn't be conducive to any handicapped access.
Positives: Location is near Boston University
Negatives: overall underwhelmed

Pleasant enough, proximate to bus and subways - 30 minutes to Harvard Square, closer to BC and BU. Perfectly pleasant place. I'd stay there again.
Positives: Nice residential neighborhoods. Near whole foods.
Negatives: Room smelled of a bug infestation. Had to discard blanket.

This was a great place, close to my designation. Really nice continental breakfast offering. Extremely helpful staff at front desk.
Positives: Close to my destination in Brookline.
Negatives: A little tricky to find.

We needed a hotel close to St. Elizabeth's as I had surgery and needed to stay close to the hospital as we live in RI. Upon check in the staff recommended a room with a King bed and queen pull out as there would be less outside steps to get to the room. However, they didn't explain that we had to move the car, I ended up climbing up just as many stairs. No napkins or paper towels available in room. TVs are very old and poor reception. The phone in room also did not work. Other wise we were happy with the room.
Positives: The room was clean. The bed was nice.
Negatives: The TV's are very old and have poor reception. The Internet is not in the rooms making computer work difficult.

Excellent hotel staff, helpful, accommodating and courteous. No parking charge is a huge plus. Within a T ride to Boston University or Boston College.
Positives: The T stops within 1/2 block of hotel.
Negatives: Everything was fine.

The rooms are spacious, new and well-designed, not at all dowdy. The staff are friendly and helpful. The office has a computer and printer for public use. The fridge and microwave are useful.
Positives: The rooms are well-designed and furnished, and have microwave and fridge.
Negatives: Housekeeping very slack - didn't vacuum our room and left trash under the wastebaskets.

For the price I would stay here again. The metal bar fell off the door and I had to open the toilet tank to flush but it was very clean and comfortable.
Positives: Clean
Negatives: The toilet broke.

Positives: Convenient
Negatives: No bottle opener.

I don't recommend this hotel. It wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed at but it was on the list of least favorites. My room was dingy/dirty - the carpets needed to be vacuumed and the walls had several lipstick marks on them in the main room. The large front window when covered with the drapes allowed too much light in for comfortable sleeping. I had to wear an eye mask to block the light. Plus the noise from the street was loud at times. In addition for 2 of my 4 nights at the hotel I had very noisy neighbors who were arguing loudly and slamming their door in the middle of the night. I wore earplugs but I could still here them. After calling the front desk about the noise at 1:41 am on a Sunday, the neighbors quieted down. So I guess the staff will act on noise complaints. Although I think the guests in the next room were being ridiculously loud, I could also here people sneezing. So the walls must be really thin.
Positives: Very close to trolley stop. The room had a microwave and fridge.
Negatives: Room was dirty. Loud noise from street and neighbors. Intrusive light from windows.

Positives: close to the MBTA
Negatives: too many stairs

This hotel was awesome! We stayed there to go to a Red Sox game. It was a short walk to the T, then just a ride and short walk to Fenway. It was very clean, and the beds were soft.
Positives: Very close to the MBTA. Friendly staff and soft beds.
Negatives: No vent in the bathroom is my only problem.

Staff was super helpful getting cabs, check out etc. Room was really at the far end from reception on the ground floor and at street level so pretty loud and didn't feel as secure as one closer and on second floor might have for a woman travelling with teenage daughter.
Positives: Staff very helpful.
Negatives: Room was at street level.

Good location in quiet part of Boston between Boston College and Boston University. Subway/trolley stop was within a few hundred yards. Residential area with neighborhood shops. Older hotel, not fancy, but staff was friendly and helpful.
Positives: Front desk was very helpful and friendly.
Negatives: No wireless internet access.

The hotel location is very closed to the Boston station and a few decent restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wireless internet was offered but only worked in one of the two rooms we had. We reported drainage problem of bathtub which was not fixed immediately (fixed two days later).
Positives: Closed to the Boston station.
Negatives: Drainage problem in bathtub.

This hotel was wonderful! I really enjoyed my stay. There was a fantastic employee behind the desk who deserves to be recognized because he gave exceptional service. After I checked in he gave me directions to get to the Subway from the hotel. Then he was working again in the morning when I checked out and this time he gave me directions to get to the highway. He had a map and highlighted the route I was to take. It made it easy for me to get where I was going.
Positives: The room was spacious and beautifully decorated.
Negatives: Housekeeping was knocking at the door prior to the check out time.

The bathroom needs an electric ventilation system other than the open window. The stay was great; due to the nice staff members, breakfast, location, color scheme and cleanliness of the hotel. 2 thumbs up!
Positives: I felt as though I was in Japan training in a dojo.
Negatives: NA.

I was really unhappy with my choice. Location was way out of the usual business area, the AC (we don't open windows in a city) worked for 5 minutes and took a break. Front desk told me this was not faulty. Phone had no dial tone. If I opened the shade I could see inside private house and they could see me.
Positives: The cost.
Negatives: I would not stay again. Reminded me of Red Roof Inn.

Hotel was near the tram which was very good for me going to Fenway park. Have a few good restaurants near by, but I choose to eat at the stadium. I would like to stay there if I had a choice visiting Boston. Good for the single travelers.
Positives: Cheap for its location. And very quite.
Negatives: NA.

Negatives: No ashtrays outside room.

Good value hotel, close to the train, fenway_park and lots of good little pubs.
Positives: Good location.
Negatives: Outside entrances to the rooms.

In general, I enjoyed staying at this hotel because it had everything I needed, the staff was very helpful and it was close to public transportation and the university I was visiting.
Positives: I liked its convenience to Boston College and that there was a mini fridge and microwave.
Negatives: The continental breakfast didn't have many non dairy options, should have had some fruit.
