Clark Point Inn is a bed & breakfast located in Southwest Harbour.
The Inn is on the Quiet Side of Mount Desert Island within walking distance to the village and its restaraunts and shops. It was built in 1883 by Amos Brown for his family in Colonial/Italianette style and is located opposite the town dock in an historic area of Southwest Harbor renowned for its seafaring traditions that continue to the present.
We are open year round.
The Inn offers full New England breakfasts every day with fixed menus for the week. We will make every effort to accommodate special dietary needs. Breakfast is served in our dining area or on our porch from 8AM - 9AM. Afternoon tea and lemonade along with other refreshments are also served daily.
You will find that the Clark Point Inn has a unique ambience derived from our personal experiences.Our living room and porch will give you a place to relax and unwind. The variety of rooms and furnishings will complete your experience here in Southwest Harbor.

Staying here was like staying at an Uncle's house, the one you don't like! The owners are constantly looking over you and asking how everything is..not real good, thank you, but don't want to tell you...and your inn smells like cats..
The breakfasts were bland, unappetizing attempts at "gourmet". Fortunately there are restaurants in town. Don't waste your money here, stay in Bar Harbor or elsewhere!
