Beware of bed bugs and dishonest staff. Fecal spotting all over seams of mattress/box spring, was initially told there was never be any debug problem, later found out they were treating for bed bugs. These mattresses/box springs should have long been discarded due to bed bug infestation/fecal matter. I was told by management they were waiting for the off-season to replace them! I used to love this place, now I wouldn't stay there is you paid me. I finally got a refund, but had to cause a serious stink and contact higher ups as the staff was not responsive and outright denied the problem, told me no other rooms were available, (later found one for me) and said they never had bed bugs, but the janitor told me they just treated last year.
Positives: Leaving
Negatives: Evidence of bed bugs and dishonest staff.

For the price we paid, excellent location, service, breakfast and room.
Positives: Large spacious rooms.
Negatives: Nothing negative.

The hotel is nice and a comfortable stay. However, I selected a hotel in Downtown Portland and I ended up practically on the airport property. Planes and all. It was a 15 minute drive to actually get to the town I wanted to visit.
Positives: The people at the front desk were nice and helpful.
Negatives: It was located at the airport not in Downtown Portland where I had selected.

The hotel, overall, was very nice. The only thing we didn't like was the view from our suite.
Positives: The room was a nice size and clean.
Negatives: The view.

Helpful staff, very nice rooms for the price. Very attractive, upscale lobby with marble floors and cathedral ceilings. The bed was enormous and comfortable. The gym was surprisingly well equipped, with brand-new equipment. The pool area was clean and attractive, although the pool had the usual hotel problem of being over chlorinated. The bartenders were a little on the rude side, particularly during happy hour when they weren't not getting any tips. The food in the restaurant is overpriced, but the complimentary happy hour and continental breakfast are worth it. Will definitely be coming back.
Positives: The well-equipped and well-maintained gym.
Negatives: Climate control in the room was somewhat difficult.

The hotel was nice and clean. It is quite convenient to the airport and to highways up or down the coast. The staff was quite helpful.
Positives: The room was spacious and would have been suitable for a prolonged stay.
Negatives: It was a bit tricky to find.

The hotel was hard to find as the streets are not named in the airport area. We made several wrong turns. There was something about the feel of this hotel that was not as homey as most. I think it was the rundown and falling apart sofas all over the lobby areas and hotel rooms. The cushions were sagging in so deeply in the center of the couch you could not sit on them. They were like that all over the hotel. Very uncomfortable as there were 5 of us, 2 adults, and 3 kids, and we could not watch TV together without sitting on the floor. And you know hotel floors. Room was fairly clean but we did find some hairs wrapped up in our bath mat and our sheets were put on inside out which gave me the feeling that they were not changed. Staff was nice.
Positives: The restaurant was good.
Negatives: The sofas in room and lobby are very, very, worn and used.

The hotel itself was very clean and the room was even better than expected. The in-room refrigerator and microwave came in handy for popcorn and cold drinks while we watched DVDs (my portable DVD player was compatible with their TVs - another nice perk). We were only there two nights - a women's weekend for outlet shopping and relaxing - but I would certainly recommend it for folks looking to visit Portland without spending an arm and a leg.
Positives: The full breakfast included in our stay was a nice perk; the staff restocked menu items continuously throughout the morning.
Negatives: An $85 hold was put on my debit card (??) on top of the $34 I'd paid for room service at checkout AND a $50 credit card authorization at check in.
