Head Beach Camp Grounds is a campsite / RV park located in Phippsburg.

Oceanside camping on the coast of Maine, on our private sand beach. Head Beach Campground and Cottages in Phippsburg, Maine on Small Point is located approx. one hour north of Portland, Maine - just south of Bath on the Phippsburg penninsula!

We offer weekly rentals on cabins, as well as seasonal camping site rentals with utility hookups.

Our campground is completely seasonal, meaning we rent one site to one guest for the entire summer, with our season being Memorial Day Weekend until September 15.

Our campground features 50 large sites half of which are surrounded by trees and the remaining half are in the open space of a well maintained field. All sites are located within walking distance of the beach. Each site has water and electrical hook up with the option of private cable and phone installation as well as weekly lawn care. There is a central dumping station with unlimited access for our guests. Showers and restrooms are free. Pets, limited to two dogs per site, are allowed provided they are well behaved and thoroughly cleaned up after.
