A small rowboat is available for our guests and many bring their own kayaks for a quiet paddle among the harbor's many lobster boats or along the rocky shore. Without the interruptions of television or telephones, getting "caught up" on reading is a pleasure and there's always time for puzzles, board games and lawn games with the family.

Our housekeeping cottages are classic Maine cabins, neatly kept, simple, yet possessing an old-fashioned charm that many refer to as "spirit-renewing". It is the combination of rustic charm and extraordinary natural setting (as well as the area's many cultural, historical and natural sites) that brings people back to Harborside generation after generation.

Nearby restaurants include Shaw's Fish & Lobster Wharf, Gosnold Arms Inn & Restaurant, The Harbor Room, and Cupboard Cafe.
