Heat is provided by woodstoves and propane furnaces.

Additional details

All of our cabins have a view of the lake and access to the lake from their cabins. All of our packages include the use of our rowboats, canoes and kayaks. Guests can enjoy swimming off the wharf or out to our floating dock.

Some of our cabins are more isolated than others but we are the only cabins on the entire 375 acre lake. Your neighbors include deer, bald eagles, Raccoons, moose and yes bears. But don't fear we have not lost a guest yet!

Family Vacations at Loon Lodge include hiking, canoeing, kayaking, or just plain relaxing. We have short day hikes to interesting destinations. The canoe enthusiast will find many miles of water to explore. Wildlife abounds in the area and every one from the bird watcher to wildlife photographer will have plenty to see.
