Built in 1859 by a wealthy banker, the Jeremiah Mason House is a three-story Greek Revival mansion with floor-to-ceiling windows, chandeliers, and decorative fireplaces. While it represents the grandeur of New England's past, it is furnished with an eclectic mixture of fine period antiques, handmade quilts, and many collectibles. Each of the ten guestrooms has a private bath, as well as a choice of king, queen, double or twin beds.

Although located in the heart of the southern Maine woods, Limerick is only 30 minutes from southern beaches, and only 45 minutes from Portland, Old Orchard, Wells and North Conway, N.H.
