Bethel village nestled in the foothills of the Longfellow Range of the White Mountains has been a favorite of summer vacationers since the 1800's, when city folk came to refresh themselves in the clean mountain air.
Bethel has become a year round resort with alpine skiing at nearby Sunday River Ski Resort, Mt. Abram Ski Resort, cross country skiing and snowshoeing, hiking, canoeing and fishing in the White Mountain National Forest, golf and tennis.

The Victoria Restaurant with its three dining rooms offers gourmet evening dining. During the summer months luncheon and high tea are served. The inn's 15 guest rooms are decorated with antiques and many have lavish arch rod lace-draped beds. Guest rooms have queen or king beds, private baths, air conditioning, cable TV and digital phone systems.
Each room has a private bath, air conditioning, cable TV, digital phone system and modem hook-up. Standard rooms have queen size beds. Superior rooms are more spacious and have varied bed combinations. Deluxe rooms have king size beds and Jacuzzi tubs. Suites include a wet bar and sitting area. Loft rooms sleeping up to eight people are popular with families.
