I was only there one night but the staff were really helpful, telling me what areas to go to, best places to eat etc. Very clean and a short (4 min) walk to Bourbon St areas.

Positives: The cleanliness and proximity to everything.

Negatives: Nothing to dislike.

At first look this is a beautiful place, but when we got to our room it was so small we could not fit our luggage in, we had to stack pieces on top of each other. The walls were so thin, and we had a very fussy baby next door...cried all night. Mom and Dad were trying but it was very up set. Then the fight in the ally started..yelling cursing..the whole bit. No shots fired!! Thank God. When we told the front desk about the problems of noise..they shrugged it off and said sorry about that. We also had to pay for parking...eats up savings real fast.

Positives: The staff was very pleasant.

Negatives: Thin walls listened to baby cry all night, very small room, no room for luggage, had to listen to fight in alley. had to pay for parking

I stayed during the Jazz festival weekend and while not there for the music truly enjoyed the location of this hotel to the French Quarter, major streets and my conference center. It is two blocks away from Harrah's main casino as well.

Positives: Location, rooms, beds.

Negatives: Pool was too small.

This was a great place to stay. The location was unbeatable--close enough walk to everything but far enough away to get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was a nice benefit, and all the staff very friendly.

Positives: The room was clean and the bed really comfortable!

Negatives: My room was not ready for two hours after I checked in.

Nice hotel within walking distance of many great spots in New Orleans. Pleasant staff and valet parkers. Only drawback was hearing all the noise in our room during breakfast.

Positives: Excellent location and not too big.

Negatives: Very loud due to open courtyard area. Very noisy in the morning for breakfast.

Pool was a little small if you had children, but not unexpected when you consider what the available lot space was. Hotel management was very helpful and assisted in every way to assist in our stay and informative as to availability of tours, restaurants, etc. This is the fourth time we have stayed in this hotel and would be expecting to stay there again next year.

Positives: Excellent location for the French Quarter.

Negatives: Little problem with the breakfast. Not prepared for so many people so food was sometimes slow.

Hotel was very nice - great renovation of historical warehouse spaces. Nice roomy lobby area with great quiet reading room off the lobby. Loved the access to a computer in the lobby. Wonderful breakfast room with great varied choices for breakfast. Outdoor courtyard nice - no chance to try pool due time constraints.

Positives: Very comfortable beds.

Negatives: Hallway carpeting on 1st floor looked worn and dirty.

This was one of the cleanest hotel that I have been to this year. And if I ever go back to New Orleans this would be the hotel that I would stay.

Positives: The hotel was very clean and order free.

Negatives: The bar closed too early, the parking was not good, because we I had to pay for parking.

This hotel was in a perfect area of New Orleans. It was walking distance from all the attractions we were there to see. It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Couldn't as for anything more!

Positives: It had an old, historic feel to it! Loved that!

Negatives: I didn't care for the continental breakfast.

Only there for a shore while, but no problems, except the wait for valet parking.

Positives: Close to downtown attractions.

Negatives: Long wait for valet parking.

This hotel was both safe and very convenient. The breakfasts were an excellent value, and you could easily walk to main attractions. Parking was high but it's high everywhere, and considering what this city has been through, for once I didn't mind, since I'm putting money back into their economy. The cleaning ladies would ask if you needed anything, but were less active about coming in unless requested to do so.

Positives: The breakfasts were above what is usually offered.

Negatives: I happened to be on a floor that did not have direct elevator access, problematic in taking a cart for luggage.

I chose this hotel from the website, without knowing anything about it. Now that I've stayed there, I feel it is much preferable to the big box hotels, which have much less character and charm.

Positives: The ambiance is wonderful, with a perfect balance between the original structure and comfort.

Negatives: Not enough help in securing an airport shuttle. Number I was given never picked up.

All things considered I would stay here again. I thought it was a good buy for the money. One of the highlights of my stay was the complementary breakfast, it was outstanding. I slept late so I found it helpful that the breakfast was available until 11:00 a.m..

Positives: The location was very good.

Negatives: Parts of the hotel needed repair . An example was walls in the hall appeared to have water damage at the bottom. Too there was mildew in some areas.

Country Inn & Suites NO came close to my expectations but it would be nice (especially for tourists) to tell about all side costs fairly. And a PC for guests should be standard, not everybody has a Laptop.

Positives: The very clean rooms and perfect renovation of this old house.

Negatives: The not mentioned high parking price and no PC!

The night manager was not nice at all. My family and I got stuck in one of the elevators in the hotel for 1 hour and when we finally got out he did not offer any sort of apology, in fact he was not concerned at all even though my grandparents who are in there 80's were stuck in there as well and had to endure extreme warmth and very tight quarters. His customer service skills were awful and he obviously does not enjoy his job. The decor and location of the hotel is nice. The staff in general needs to work on being nice to the patrons. They do not really speak to you at all besides the few words they must say to get you checked in and out.

Positives: I liked the location and the room was spacious and nice.

Negatives: The afternoon and night manager.

While we only stayed in the hotel for one night, it was a really pleasant stay. It was very close to Canal Street so Mardi Gras was right there. The atmosphere of the hotel was great, from the tile to the plants and the railing and architecture. Room was small but comfortable for two people. A great hotel, just don't go in expecting so swim, the swimming pool is about the size of a large hot tub, literally.

Positives: Great atmosphere and location.

Negatives: Very small, smaller than a hotel room swimming pool.

We got to New Orleans and had to park 6 blocks away due to street closures for Mardi Gras that we were not informed about. We were told we could valet park right at the hotel. We had to carry all of our luggage those 6 blocks too. The hotel itself was very nice but we didn't get to check in till an hour after check in time. The room was wonderful, nicely appointed. The staff was friendly but when we tried to explain our problems with parking and checking in to the manager he basically blew us off. We didn't get to bring our hotel back to the hotel till almost 3 in the morning and still had to pay over $20 to park it at the hotel. Not to mention I got a $75 parking ticket for where I did park it even though there were no signs and other cars parked there. I think the management should have been more understanding about everything that happened to us. To me, the valet parking was false advertisement and very disappointing.

Positives: I loved the architecture of the building.

Negatives: I hated the parking set up of the hotel.

This is a beautiful building, very romantic and very clean. All service personnel were helpful and pleasant. It would be a great place to stay with family or for a romantic getaway very nice breakfast. Parking is a pain and the parking fee is expensive, nearly $40.00 a night, we had to double park and leave our car in front when we checked in (we did arrive quiet late to their credit). We would stay here again but may make other arrangements for parking.

Positives: The use of the original historical building.

Negatives: The parking fee is too high. No curb service at night or assistance with bags late at night.

I would definitely come back to this hotel. The staff is nice and the facilities are brand new. It's a great value, with nice breakfast, exercise room, pool, and library use included. The lobby is historic and very nicely designed, with a fantastic atrium and sunroof. The hotel is intimate and the facilities are excellent.

Positives: Great location, new facilities. Historic building and

Negatives: Lost and found not great
