We have a very good time, and the hotel was beautiful! Just watch the shower water temperature, its hard to make comfortable. It was either way to hot or way to cold.
Positives: It was a very beautiful hotel.
Negatives: The water temperature in the shower was very hard to make comfortable, it was either to hot or to cold.

This hotel was great! I would highly recommend it to everyone! The lobby and the rooms are very stylish. The price that we got on Priceline was great. Would definitely go back!
Positives: Great location, nice rooms, clean, and attractive.
Negatives: Pool was closed, parking was EXPENSIVE!

My family's overall stay at the Renaissance was nice. The hotel is clean and the rooms were decent but not a 4-star facility. The customer service was great, the valet guys were very helpful with providing us places to go dine, tour and etc. They also were very pleasant to talk with and got our vehicle very promptly each time we needed it.
Positives: Fresh and clean scent in the lobby and Art Decor.
Negatives: Rooms were just okay, beds were not as comfortable as I expected...hard, cheap mattresses.

We enjoyed our stay at the Renaissance very much. The linens were fresh, noise level minimal despite a wedding in progress, and lovely little touches like cold water marinated with fresh fruits, mints, and the most refreshing smell to greet you once you enter off the streets of New Orleans. It was a true gem!
Positives: Smells fresh as soon as you enter lobby, helpful, accomodating staff, excellent ambiance.
Negatives: No shaded area at pool.

Overall, I was very pleased. Location was excellent being within walking distance to French Quarter, Riverwalk, and the Casino. Great restaurants in walking distance. Hotel restaurant was pricey so we ate elsewhere. Rooms were very nice and clean. I thoroughly enjoyed the Aveda toiletries! Decor was fun, elegant, and comfortable!
Positives: Very clean, very hospitable and eclectic in design.
Negatives: Handicapped showers spray water all over the bathroom floor. Very annoying but did not change my opinion of the hotel.

I love this hotel. It's understated on the outside but beautiful on the inside (although the carpet is a bit much). The location is great, without the French Quarter craziness but just close enough to still be part of the action. The neighborhood offers tons of galleries, restaurants, and some good dive bars. I've stayed here three times and I would have a hard time staying anywhere else in New Orleans.
Positives: The beds are so incredibly comfortable. I sleep better there than at home.
Negatives: The restaurant does not compare to others in the neighborhood.

The hotel was well situated and has a very nice lobby. The rooms were quiet and clean, but their size and furniture was barely better than a Hampton Inn and was not up to 4 star quality.
Positives: The lobby has excellent art-glass sculptures. There is also a nice interior sculpture garden (which could be enhanced by benches.)
Negatives: Like most New Orleans hotels, they charge extra for parking.

The hotel and majority of the staff was excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much. The location and cleanliness of the hotel for the price is something you remember. Thank you.
Positives: Clean, price right for 4 star, convenient location. Staff very helpful. All the necessities for a nice vacation.
Negatives: The parking attendant shove a paper in my face before I could get out of the car to sign for valet parking which I didn't want or need.

Very nice hotel but air conditioning in room did not work properly. Hot! Ants in room. Went to bar for a drink and could never get waited on. No one behind the bar! Could not find bar tender. Desk clerk did not speak very good English.
Positives: Location and atmosphere.
Negatives: Air did not work, ants in room, waited forever at bar to get a drink. No one ever helped me.

The staff and accomodations were excellent. The hotel is in walking distance of the French Quarter if you're in comfortable shoes, but heels or dress shoes will require a $6 cab ride. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, though.
Positives: The rooftop pool was very romantic.
Negatives: The bathrooms are small, and it's a bit of a hike to the French Quarter.

Hotel was perfectly situated between French qtr and the arts district; public spaces were striking and immaculately clean; housekeeping daily was the best cleaning job<BR/>I have ever seen in a hotel.
