Did not like the hotel, we were unable to get in our room after leaving the first day. They had to change the batteries on the lock and our room was not cleaned. We had to go to the desk to get fresh towels and we had to go to the first floor to get ice. We were very dissatisfied with this stay.

If you are an industrial worker that doesn't mind waking at 5 am and smokes this is the place for you.
Positives: Staff was friendly.

This hotel was dirty. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were thin as a piece of paper. I have nothing good to say about my stay at this hotel other than it was affordable. Although, the toilet had great flushing power.

The cost of our room was double($90) than the average it list. The carpet was very disgusting and dirty, tub faucet was broken, ice machine near us was off, candy and coke machines took our money. Police guards were not comforting!!!!
Positives: It was a block from where we needed to be.
Negatives: The cleanliness of the hotel was not up to the cost.

Well, you can't expect much for the price, so it wasn ok, just could have improved on service.

No public transportation other than a bus and it wasnt the best area.

The Travelodge West bank hotel is not the place to stay if you want to save money in New Orleans. The amount I paid in cab fare to and from this hotel to New Orleans would equal a stay at much nicer hotel near the heart of the city. The rooms were dingy, not well maintained, with absolutely no frills. If you're looking for a cheap place to rest your head and nothing else, this could fit the bill. Also, the staff was courteous most of the time.
Positives: The staff was generally friendly.
Negatives: Dingy rooms, horrible location, shuttle did not run.

This hotel was in a bad section of town and the room had a funny smell to it. I was told that I could have a room with a refrigerator and microwave but upon arriving at the hotel, I was informed that it would cost $25 extra. It was a 1 star hotel so I wasn''t expecting a ton. But a clean, nice smelling room in a safe section of town should be a must.

Negatives: It was in a very unsafe part of town and they charged us a 2 dollar security fee for a night watchman
