I enjoyed my stay and the hotel. However, I have been to better La Quinta's. The area the hotel is in seemed a bit run down and I was hoping this hotel would be a newer La Quinta. Nevertheless, it was easy to get to and I did enjoy my stay, the breakfast and its close proximity to restaurants.

The lobby was somewhat clean but the stair case well to our room had trash everywhere and the access control doors were broken. My room had a couch covered with stains (nasty). The bed was wore out the beds spread had never been washed. The kitchen sink was not clean or the silverware.
Positives: Kitchen.
Negatives: Dirty.

The hotel staff made check-in unpleasant. The non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smote, was dirty, and housekeeping dug through my bags while I was away.
Positives: Convenient to interstate 10.
Negatives: Hotel staff unfriendly and uncooperative.

Location was great, staff was good, the housekeeper assigned to my room was wonderful, the drain didn't have a stopper so I couldn't take a bath, and chair at the desk was broken, the ice machine was leaking on my floor. I thought the price was a little high.
Positives: The housekeeper was excellent, very helpful and friendly.
Negatives: Several problems with the room, things broken, and not working.

The hotel clerk who checked us in said that a roll away bed cost $10 per night. We had two rooms and she didn't give us adjourning rooms. I think when more than one is rented; they should be next to each other. One of the room¿s air conditioner didn't work, so we had to move to another room. The next night the hotel clerk gave us a roll away bed free. He said there was no cost for the bed. Why did the clerk on the first night lie? Was she trying to pocket the money?
Positives: We were given a roll away bed.
Negatives: The hotel allowed animals.

I think I should get my money back. This hotel was a haven for drug dealers. The room had holes in the walls, stains on the carpet, and the bathroom was a wreck.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Poor quality, very unsafe.

OK for one night traveling. In the midst of redoing hotel since taking over Baymont. Furnishings "tired".
Positives: Price.
Negatives: Difficult to find, even with GPS - still listed under former name.

Great Location. That's it. Everything else is bad. The restroom was not cleaned well. Had mildew on the shower curtains and rings. Horrible beds. Would avoid this place if possible.

Room was great for a quick night stay, wouldn't want to stay for long. Staff working was great; I stay at a lot of hotels and can't say I have ever met better staff!
Positives: Phyllis at the desk was very helpful and friendly, also had microwave and fridge in room.
Negatives: Room was small.

Bad weekend to get a room late. LSU was playing in town so I paid about what I do for a 4 star in Boston. Hall and room smelled like a Phillip Morris test facility. Chair was stained as was carpet. Toilet cycled constantly due to leak. Tried to order movie in room but desk had me as a cash pay though I had left credit card and they were unable to fix problem. Room was dark.
Positives: After sending an email complaint to La Quinta corporate I received a call and the promise of a voucher.
Negatives: Smelled of smoke, toilet cycled constantly, stained furniture, staff could not help me order movie.

Carpet in room as well as the tile in the bathroom as sticky and disgusting This hotel was not renovated after Katrina refugees stayed there. It is a converted baymont not a standard la quinta inn. I am very dissatisfied.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Hallway smelled like a locker room.

This hotel is sub par in cleanliness. I felt icky sleeping in the bed. The bathroom toilet looked dirty and the shower had mildew in it. Very disappointing.

Whole in the wall of our bathroom that leaked water with each shower/bath. However, staff graciously moved us to another room. Rooms were a bit run down, but hotel staff was very accommodating.
Positives: Nice and helpful staff.
Negatives: Not clean.

I thought this was a good hotel for the price. I was upset when they didn't want to give me a non-smoking room. After talking to the manager for several minutes and telling her I had an asthma child she finally agreed to give the non-smoking room.
Positives: The price of the hotel.
Negatives: Trouble with hotel giving me a non-smoking that I had already requested when I booked two months earlier.

The TV was broken, the pool was 200 yards away in another parking lot, the room was tiny and dirty, I called and asked about the TV and someone said they would be right up, no one ever came. I paid too much.
Positives: The elevator was by the door.
Negatives: Poor quality, not very many amenities.

Because of Hurricane Katerina, Hotel rooms are ridiculously priced.
