For an emergency only.

Positives: It was double, but that was it.

Negatives: The food was unedible.

Has great potential. Probably should have changed rooms.

Positives: Staff was very friendly, and great location.

Negatives: Carpet was filthy, bathroom needed make over, sanitizing.

The Super 8 Motel on Macarthur Drive in Alexandria would be best served by people renting a room by the hour. Someone had broken into the soda machines and torn out all the electronics, the room was dirty (pubic hairs on the toilet seat and in the tub) and the tub and sink had a very slow drain. The whole place smelled of mildew and mold.

Positives: The air conditioning was really cold.

Negatives: Dirty, smelly, cable and remote didn't work, no extra pillows, rollaway bed with broken springs.
