The primary use of this hotel appeared to be business travelers. I only noticed 1 other family during our stay. The hotel was clean and friendly. The workout room was well equipped for basic exercise. The pool was small, clean, but wasn't used much by other guests.

Positives: Enjoyed the layout and room was comfortable.

Negatives: Was noisy around 11 to 1am due to the bar centered with all the rooms around it.

Renovated but issues remain, notably elevators that routinely fail, stranding guests throughout the hotel. Stayed there 7 days so I got a good feel for the hotel operation. Staff was friendly, although at times they seemed somewhat inapt. I could not get a flickering light fixed. I reported it 5 days in a row to no avail. There are only two elevators located in the center and the stairs are at opposite ends of the bldg. We checked-in at the exact time that one of the elevators malfunctioned (lucky us). It ended up trapping the occupants for over 40 minutes who had to be helped out of the elevator which was stuck between floors. Both elevators are on the same circuit, so it meant they had to take both out to restore service. I lugged bags up five floors to our room. The elevator failed two days later and this time I was on it. We were stuck for 20 minutes while they sorted things out. This seemed to happen every several days (not very encouraging). The room was nice but there were several irritating things like no towel bars of any kind in the bathroom (how could you forget that item?) and the midget refrigerator had no temperature setting and kept items cool but not cold. The made-to-order breakfast was pretty good but you had to get there early because the line got long and the wait times with it. Very noisy at night in the living room area of the suite due to the fact that the bar was in the center of the atrium and voices would echo loudly throughout the atrium. This went on until the bar closed. Overall the hotel was okay but I don't think that I would go back, they even charged for WIFI. I refuse to pay for WIFI, so I located a free WIFI signal from Famous Johnnie's nearby. The speed was terrible but hey it was free. Next time I will stay at Drury Inn and save some bucks.

Positives: Clean, renovated with quality, good location, cook-to-order breakfast.

Negatives: Temperamental elevators, no towel bars in the bathroom. It could be better.

The hotel was comfortable, although only having one working elevator was a significant inconvenience. The food was more than adequate, although the night staff was somewhat short and discourteous.

Overall, the experience was very enjoyable and the staff helpful and friendly. The common areas and pool area were smaller than the typical Embassy Suite would offer but, all was newly refurbished and very nice.

Positives: Tremendous value for the price.

Negatives: Smaller than usual common areas for Embassy Suite.

The hotel only has 2 elevators that are very slow and got stuck numerous times. The pool is very small. If you call the front desk for something it takes them hours to get it to you.

Positives: Separate bedroom.

Negatives: Elevators/pool.

Negatives: Nothing.

Overall, I was impressed. It was the first Embassy ever built, and it's beginning to show it's age. The staff was very friendly, the complementary breakfast was a nice touch, and the location was terrific.

Positives: The location was great!

This hotel easily exceeded my expectations as a three star hotel and would highly recommend it in the future to other travelers. I also was very pleased in the kitchen staff that worked the breakfast complimentary meal, it was ran very professionally, and was quite delicious. Thanks again.

Positives: Information was good about surrounding areas, and was very pleased with the cost of the room for a two night stay.

Negatives: The swimming pool could have been a bit larger for more people to enjoy at one time.

Overall, the hotel met my expectations like location, size of the room for the money along with an excellent breakfast. I also enjoyed the cocktail hours. Only change I'd make is a larger pool.

Positives: Size of room, breakfast and cleanliness.

Negatives: Wish the pool was larger.
