It was beautiful. Parking was ridiculous. $17 for valet plus tip with drop off and pick up.

We had to leave Doubletree during a blizzard in KC because they would not extend our nights. Fortunately, Sheraton accepted my bid and we packed up and drove a few blocks down the street in the blizzard. The doorman was very, very nice and the front desk clerk was very sweet. She noticed I was ill and asked me about my week and I told them my father has passed away and we came up to make arrangements and became ill, my daughter and I had spent the most of two days in bed ill and then had to move to their hotel during the blizzard. She was so kind and made sure we had a room with two beds and knew about all of their facilities. The manager sent us a care package with a sympathy card. We were so impressed. The hotel is very clean and beautiful. The staff was gracious and efficient.
Positives: The staff was very kind and thoughtful, the hotel accepted our bid during a blizzard.
Negatives: Don't want to complain.

This was a great value. The room was upscale and large. The pool was at the perfect temperature and very enjoyable. The staff was friendly, inviting, professional and efficient. I would select this hotel for future stays and recommend it.
Positives: The rooms were large and very comfortable.
Negatives: You could hear noise outside your room, but it did not keep us up.

Staying there was a great experience other than the fact that the hot tub was broken the whole time we were there. Using a hot tub during our hotel stay is a major requirement for us.
Positives: Comfortable, friendly, upscale.
Negatives: The hot tub was broken, which is a big negative for us.

The hotel was ok, but I just did not like some of the things. I wish there were more food opportunities within the hotel. Perhaps a cafe.
Positives: I liked the free Internet access in the business center and in the lobby. I also liked the flat screen in the bed room.
Negatives: I didn't have a refrigerator, the pool was not what I expected to be, the elevator to the parking lot was very warm.

This is more of a business hotel. The rooms are attractive and beds comfortable. Excellent parking. The restaurant is under renovation. We had a late night sandwich that was very good and different.
Positives: Bright areas, good parking.
Negatives: Pool looked murky.

I will always stay in this hotel when visiting the Kansas City/Overland Park area. It was very tastefully decorated, very modern and well-maintained. Beautiful place!

Very nice and impressive. The valets were very nice and courteous. The only complaint I had was that the jacuzzi (hot tub) was not hot, and the person that ran the gift shop was incredibly rude! Otherwise - I would stay there again.
Positives: I really liked the amenities that were available!
Negatives: I didn't like the person that ran the gift shop - he was very rude! I complained to Guest Services, and they said they had complaints about him.

We would stay there again and would recommend it. Rooms were very clean and front desk personnel were very nice. Only concern was the way the room doors tend to slam shut -- making a loud noise which is unsettling at night when trying to go to sleep.
Positives: Cleanliness and great location.
Negatives: Hallway rooms slam shut and make noise. Wish there could be slower closing doors.

The hotel was very nice and it would have been a good experience but we had no sleep due to a group of loud drunk people slamming doors, drinking and partying until almost 4 a.m. on our floor.
Positives: Nice hotel & location.
Negatives: Group of veterinarians partied all night on our floor.

This hotel was excellent in most ways. The bathrooms were clean and well furnished with necessities. My only complaint was that we put our cars in the valet parking and was not able to walk to other restaurants for diner. The restaurant looked great, however not for four small children. Although, I would come back with my husband.
Positives: Beds were extremely comfortable.
Negatives: Too remote for younger children. No fast food places close by.

The staff was very willing to go above and beyond to make sure we had a good trip. The room was large, clean and comfortable.
Positives: Clean and bed was comfortable.
Negatives: No really anything.
