Early Edition ( Dining / Other ). Located at 600 South 4th Street. In March of 2000, after seeing a need for an inviting breakfast restaurant in MHK and wanting a better quality of life for their family, Dave and Marcy Uphoff opened the first Early Edition location (Candlewood). Their delicious food, family-friendly atmosphere, and excellent service created success for them and allowed expansion to the East side in 2010. Early Edition has not only been great for the Uphoff family, but also for serving the Manhattan community and employing many young adults.
