Jay's Restaurant & Lounge ( Dining / Family ). Located at 608 Walnut Street. Jay’s Restaurant on US Highway 18 in Sanborn, IA, has served O’Brien County eaters since 1946. Marion (“Jay”) Jaycox was one of the last to be drafted into WWII, because he was a school teacher outside of Crofton, Nebraska. His Mom and Dad moved to a farm outside of Lake Park, Iowa.
