When we arrived at the hotel, we were able to check in early which was a plus, however when we asked for a non smoking room we were told since we booked through priceline we couldn't have a non smoking room. Their exact words were "we don't like priceline around here" This must have been a universal thought because we were told that twice. I thought that was a very rude comment. This was staying at at 1 star hotel. Later in our trip we booked a room through pirceline for a Mariott and they were very accomodating.

At the price we paid it was well worth the money, would not have paid prices being asked.

I unfortunately had a negative experience with this hotel. The pool was very smelly. Kind of like chlorine & the ventilation was bad in the pool area. The pool color was close to the color of algae. The hotel in general was musty & dry. Ended up having a nose bleed due to how dry the air was. Inquired about local attractions & given a quick & I don't know much about Quincy and was advised to check the brochures. We were not even sent in the direction of the brochures. Lack of breakfast materials & could not find someone to restock the food. The Manager gave the impression that she couldn't communicate to the proper extent a manager should be expected to. Room was okay, but the walls were paper thin and it looked as if there might have been some water damage in the bathroom.

Positives: Close to highway.

Negatives: Lack of intelligence from front desk, smoking establishment, cleanliness of pool and lobby.

A good place to stay for a quick business trip or en route to another destination. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Two minor complaints--there was a lot of noise on the "road side" of the hotel (if you want more quiet, try the parking lot side.) Also, the hallways, even outside of the non-smoking rooms--smelled like smoke. The room smelled OK, but it would be nice if there was less of a smoke smell in general.

Positives: Location was very good--near the highway and main road.

Negatives: Not much as far as atmosphere goes--but this was not expected.

The hotel was close to all the stores and restaurants that you could want and the place was kept clean plenty of parking and the staff was terrific.

The hot tub was not pleasant to visit as an adult due to the very close proximity to the pool and the noisy echoes from the pool noise. When we had breakfast they had waffles but were out of syrup for the waffles.

The parking is in the back and being a female, alone, it needed to have more lights and obvious cameras. My room was right by the elevator. No ice on my floor. It was okay.

I have stayed at a lot of hotels, but the cleaning staff at this one in Quincy, ill is dishonest. I left money and a check that I had received as a gift in my room. When I returned, after it had been cleaned, it was gone. The desk never found it and acted like they could care less. I will not stay there again. The cleaning people must not be paid enough, so they take tips from the customers belongings when they clean.

Way to expensive for what I received. It was a smoking room but it was not tolerable. I have spent a night in smoking room before and this was by far the worst. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Comfort Inn Quincy was what I expected from a Comfort Inn and its peers. Generic rooms, decent prices, and satisfactory experience. It was certainly nothing luxurious, but it was perfect for my purposes. The indoor pool was very nice, especially when the temperatures neared 100.

Positives: The continental breakfast was superb!

Negatives: No microwave or fridge in the room.
